I'm may be only a few chapters in but I don't think this scene can be topped.

The "crossroads" not being the actual roads but instead the shadow cast by the crucifix is brilliant.

I didn't know Robert Johnson was real.

Sorry guys.

Hiramoto did the art AND story it seems. How do you go from something like this to what he's doing now?

Should I dump the first chapter?

Luckly you only discovered this now, because not a year ago the official status of this series was "cancelled / eternal hiatus".

Hiramoto picked it up again after he got more popular with Prison School.

What is this about, user?

Gee I wonder.

That was pretty based of him then, I see its completed now so he must not have had to pick much back up.

>How do you go from something like this to what he's doing now?
Cancellation.

Me and the Devil Blues wasn't doing so good, it really is one of a kind for Hiramoto's career, his resume is composed of comedies and erotic comedies, his readership probably didn't want anything with a serious work.

Me and The Devil Blues was put on hold for years, some say cancelled, then Hiramoto went to create Prison School which his popularity soar the skies, Me and the Devil Blues resumed serialization a while ago.

Hiramoto is working on two series at the same time, that's why Prison Schools takes breaks and the story is stuck on Namek.

>I see its completed now so he must not have had to pick much back up.
Huh? I don't see any place says its completed.

Oh, I assumed this was the ending chapter and the last two were just omake/epilogues.
