What's true, OP?

Was Hayate's dad autistic?

why did they strip

Physics RIP

So if the movies and series are in universerve productions it must suck being a member of the Spacy and having all of these massive pieces of media coming and and shitting all over the orgnanisation you belong to.

Throwing things in zero gravity causes you to accelerate in the opposite direction.

Every time someone asks why hayate and Mirage stripped, I die a little bit inside. I must've seen that question at least 100 tomes this past few days

*times

I see it on niconico and 2chan too

Imagine this. Hayate, Freyja and Mirage are stranded on an island.

Who loses their shit?
Who remains calm and makes a plan?
Who doesn't give a fuck and thinks everything will work out somehow?

Well when you really look at it, out of 6 series (not counting Macross II) 4 have had UN Spacy pilots as protags, and only 1 so far (Delta) has had them as potential villians. Usually it's just the higher ups that are portrayed as dickheads while the common soldiers still get the hero treatment. This is something that even the most gung-ho pro-military Hollywood movies portray, with US G.I. man having to go against the incopetent chucklefucks at HQ and "Save America™". It's been a fairly common theme in fiction since the First World War, that the guys at the top are idiots or flat out evil, while the common soldier is the true hero, defending his country and doing his part.

haha us intellectuals, amirite?

Honestly I blame the fact that modern TV and movies constantly stop to explain every fucking thing that happens to the audience.

I think he was a free spirit who couldn't handle being tied down to one place so he essentially ditched Hayate and his mom to continue fucking around in the Brisingr area while mailing Hayate things that he found interesting.

Honestly it's not that hard. We all learn this in Jr. High. Plus, the scene was pretty self explanatory. Hayate and Mirage were at a still point. They begin throwing clothes in the opposite direction and Whoosh! They go forward.

Well, he is a soldier, so he could have been simply been transferred to those places. Otherwise, he would be court martial for deserting his post already.

Hayate takes a lot after hishis father though. He's a free spirit. He was always wandering around trying to find that special something until he gave up. But then his enthusiasm was revived and now he has a more concrete goal of what type of freedom he seeks.

But that makes no sense
Physics is litterally dead in Macross

But they can just do a butterfly stroke and it would have the same effect. Just like those astronauts.

fuck just finished episode 10. messer was my husbandu

If he wrote more, his letters would be full of [REDACTED]

Did you really like his hairstyle?

This is anime and it was a fanservice episode. What did you expect?

Ps. I'm tired of having to verify I'm not a robot by clicking pictures of food. Just makes me hungry.

Posted this last thread to no general response. The silhouette looks like a Macross type ship, but not like an SDFN. Mostly lt looks like the Elysion. Possible indication that the Elysion was the Macross that escorted the fleet that landed at Ragna (and that the same class was apparently in use for at least some Megaroad fleets)?

of course

Freyja
Mirage
Hayate

But Hayate and Freyja help with the plan once there is one.

The only thing that doesn't make sense about the scene is how heavy their clothing would have to be for them to get that much momentum out of throwing it.

I'm pretty sure he was a NUNS special agent trying to save the galaxy from Windemere.

But why did Mirage have to squeeze Hayate's butt to move that emergency lever?

It's a Dulfim-class CG model. Same thing that is to the left.

Really? I think it'd be more like Mirage would lose her shit. "I'm the older one, I'm in charge?! But what do I do? Will I be OK leading?" Mirage has a tendency to succumb under pressure. She thinks too much.

Hayate as of late shows more leadership/confidence than Mirage. Refer to episode 14 where he took the lead. So I can imagine him remaining calm and taking the lead.

Freyja would at first be WTF but then she'd be all namaste and shit. Hoina hoina, it'll all work out.

I'm going to need sauce on this, I can't find anything on astronauts moving with butterfly strokes

Weird episode, there was no tuna.

>Mirage has a tendency to succumb under pressure. She thinks too much.

Dunno she was actually doing quite well with coming up with plans on the fly in episode 13 (unfortunately they were completely outclassed) and she also thought on her feet well in episode 8 (once again they were completely outclassed and the plan failed to work.)

Perhaps a better prediction is she calmly comes up with a plan then things go to shit in the middle of it until Freyja sings Hayate into a superhuman who somehow saves the day.

There is no sauce. That's bullshit.

If astronauts only needed to flail around to move in zero gravity, they wouldn't have needed an MMU for untethered spacewalks. The only thing you can realistically do is reorient yourself, but you might even have trouble doing that.

Pretty much this, and there's literally nothing wrong with that.

Not so much under pressure, but when she has the time to think then she starts doubting herself. We saw it a few episodes back; when she's not flying or fighting she's worrying.

>futa_pegging_fun.webm

>The only thing you can realistically do is reorient yourself

In atmosphere you could move really REALLY slowly by swimming. I mean everyone on board would have died before they got to the conduit but they'd have been moving.

At least assuming there's nothing moving the air around with more force than you causing you to drift off course.

Mirage is hopeless in crisis. Look how she did nothing but stare like an useless shitter while Hayate took charge. Freyja saved herself and merkitties and immediately pulled herself together.

Mirage is like a baby they must handhold despite being older.

She had actual time to think up plans.

This episode, she was out her element and completely follows everyone around.

why are the songs in this one better then the one in frontier...

those two dudes by her looked like ninja turtles from a glance at the thumbnail....

>It's a Dulfim-class CG model. Same thing that is to the left.

I don't think it's clear enough to tell, but it's definitely the right dual hull silhouette to match so I think you're probably right.

It didn't at all occur to me there was still atmosphere for some reason. Swimming would definitely work in that case.

Although now the air resistance would've slowed them to a stop when they threw stuff. I guess they threw more than one article of clothing though so it's fine.

Or was there?

But Frontier had Aimo and Seikan Hikou.

Hayahaya just wanted to take his shirt off and Mirage followed suit because he knows what he's doin if you hoi what I nya

>Swimming would definitely work in that case.

Still much much slower than throwing a counter weight. And the air resistance issue probably isn't a huge deal in the distance they're covering, second throw might have been to gain back some more speed, or it might have just been to change their vector a bit to get a better aim for the hand holds.

l-lewd

Date a boy who looks at you the same way Hayate looks at Freyja

He doesn't give a shit about Mirage, user.

On the other hand, how much mass can their jackets and shoes possibly have?

Not enough for what's shown, even if they were body armor lined.

Freyja and Hayate = love
Mirage and Hayate = lust

Many bring up the cats mating scene (which is animal lust) but there was a scene Freyja notices a couple feeding each other and sharing their meals before she seeks Mirage to thank her.

Hayate and Mirage scene were mirroring jokingly the cats. Freyja and Hayate, a gag scene to reference the sentient couple.

Hayate didn't even think about Mirage's tits
Clearly a lolicon

Literally who?

>couple feeding each other
Which scene?

Why did they have to take off their shirts?

I thin user might be referring to that couple Freyja saw before she headed off to eat with Mirage and Hayate. The one that was sharing a cup of water.

Seriously. This question again. I'm gonna kill myself

Please don't. The last thing we need is one less person in this thread who passed high school physics.

please do

But user don't you like this hilarious new meme.

I WANT MESSER MERCH

Hayate and Freyja acted like a typical shoujo couple in episode 14. Guy teases the clueless pure hearted heroine who calls him mean and whines while he laughs and the rival looks jealous in the distance.

Is Kawamori a shoujofag?

Please don''t. Kawamori needs you to buy CDs.

Since he sponsored that Frontier shoujp manga.

Kawamori is a shoujo.

No, I'd much rather Keith stick his rune up my ass than see another post asking why hayate and Mirage stripped

Ok just finished episode 13. WHY DID THEY RETREAT? They had the battle won if they had just fired another beam from the Elysion the enemy wouldve been rubble along with their old ass ship. I mean Ernest loses 100 battles but he had that won, does he just like to lose?

Because of the minkanjins

>I'd much rather Keith stick his rune up my ass
Oh, I'm sure you do

>WHY DID THEY RETREAT?

Because they didn't consider the risk of the civilians going into a widespread var riot and slaughtering each other worth the benefits of continuing the battle when they weren't sure to win anyway.

Well I definitely wouldn't mind sitting on that beautiful face of his.

That you'd rather have Keith stick his rune up your ass does not convince me that you don't want to hear more questions about motive disrobing.

But freyja and friends had them all suppressed plus her and Hayate super synced would have stopped any var from even showing up, i mean they were strong enough to slap the trap Heinz with a song

Hayate attitude with Freyja and her response are straight out muh shoujos. Senpai character torments/teases the younger girl playfully.

A scene like this needs to happen to have a bingo of those kind of scenes.

Fine. I'd much rather have Ernest impale me with his mighty rod disabling me from walking for the rest of my life than have to read another post of "why they strip?"

They didn't know Heinz suddenly fell off the imaginary sky

I will never understand why they're so obsessed with a specific overpriced brand of ice cream.

Why does that child have the ninja turtles behind her?

They saw Roid do it so many times they ended up copying it without thinking. That's Roid's master plan.

>goes to see Keith after the batlle
>DID YOU SEE THAT? IT ACTUALLY WORKED!
>uh Roid, about Shirokishi-sama...

It's the only good brand

>forgetting Escaflowne, Aquarion Evol and Arjuna

This scene is realy like a shoujo manga's moment also that name shouting scene.

They were already in the process of retreating by that point. Walkure had already been nearly killed once in the battle and there was really no reason to believe that Freyja would have been able to continue to drown out Heinz long enough for the cannon to cool and fire another shot. If they'd committed to continuing that battle at that point and Heinz had recovered the dimensional barrier would have gone back up and chances are the second shot would have been completely useless. Continuing the retreat with the civilians that was already underway was a perfectly reasonable call.

He's prettier than Alto.

>Aquarion Evol
Ah yeah, Amata and Mikono are shit but their romantic scene make me blushed like a shoujo mangafaggot.

hey haagen daz is good

The shit I took last night is prettier than Alto.

There's no way I'm paying that much for such a small amount of ice cream that's only barely better than the other store bought kinds.

What is Mikumo's the ancestor of Windermerians? That's why they stated the show is also about a mother's love.

Her idol career will be ruined.

She is a tactical musician not your aidoru.

>They took out there head pilot
>Shot the ship in its face enough for it to show visible damage
>Had a bomb wipe out 50% of the enemy fighters
>Used a super song sync to suppress var
the only thing the enemy actually did was plug into the shrine thing but only after they retreated

Is this just a stop gap OP?

Macross stories generally have some shit decisions as we go along. This was one of them.

Been looking for rum raising for years with no success

I'm pretty sure the bomb mostly wiped out friendlies

There's a bunch of merch featuring the twins even if they are almost on the same level as characters like Chuck's siblings, meanwhile characters like Arad, Messer or Chuck won't get anything except for plamos of their valkyries.
