Post the dvds too you fucking shitposting dog.
>6k

>same as an average KyoAni season
BnHA's is about 4700
Bungou's is about 8000
Kyoani's average series gets between that in just Blu-ray sales.

Are you a retard?
What wI'll happen to anime when Bones finally goes under
KyoAni gets all the profit from their anime though.
Bones hasn't done a good anime since FMA.
Nothing will happen. Bones is just a waste of space now.
Now let's try posting this in a non-baity way
7,828 Bungou Stray Dogs
4,695 Boku no Hero Academia
>Kyoani's average series gets between that in just Blu-ray sales.
>Phantom World v1 sells 2076/512, total 2,588.
>Euphonium v1 sells 5683/872, total 6,555.
I bet his next reply will be
>but KyoAni is the IP holder so they end up getting more profit than the other studio's works.
Dudes, just let the thread die. There's nothing interesting to talk about.
Or at least pose a relevant question that isn't just some time-waste baiting.
they do, samefag-kun
and they aren't in the red like BONES
You just haven't got what it takes to shitpost.
(you)
When are the first sale results from summer being released?
butthurt
>get proven wrong
>shifts the argument
>no, you're just butthurt and samefag!
irony
Kyoani also needs to pay for everything.
IP ownership does not mean that you magically get more money.
BONES projects are funded by them and their partners and so everyone gets a split of the costs and profit.
Kyoani fund their stuff out of their own pocket and so they also take all the costs and profits.
who are you quoting?
and they take all the flop.
rekt
Don't worry, KyoAni will take them in when they go bankrupt.
Of course.
Shit like Phantom World hurts them more at the end than whatever studios manga/LN adaption flopping.
Of course its all calculated and at the end they could probably shit out another movie or S2 for it without needing to cut on anything.
Just shit out another season of Free! a few seasons later and they are back on track.
So, what's the actual point of this thread?
shitposting
Ahh, this is another word that kyoani fans like to use for Bones. "In the red".
It's like they can't think of other phrases and just parrot each other the same insult. Some other phrases you fuckers could've used for bad financial situations are:
>Losing money
>In dire straits
>Insolvent
>Budget deficit
>Negative cashflow
>Overspending
>Poverty-stricken
>Bankrupt
>Penniless
>Impoverished
>In the gutter
>Broke
>Financial crisis
>Out of funds
So are Kyoani. What, you think they are an exception to the rule?
The post you replied to WAS talking about kyoani.
I'm shit talking about kyoanus you retard learn to read.
I doubt anybody in this thread is willing to read what other people wrote anyway, and are just looking to post all the collected arguments from archives to fulfill a quota.
I personally hope that there will be a hidden Keit-ai to make this thread enjoyable.
His heart was in the right place.
thanks for the new shitposting material friend
It's funny how some people here like to complain about the prevalence of misunderstandings in animu and manga and yet here we are, we see plenty of examples of anons being absolute shit at holding a conversation or conveying their thoughts properly. Which result to whole bunch of silly drama. Just like in their anime.
Some Kyoanifag got mad and decided to make a thread, i don't know.
Welp, time to make Eureka 21.
...
Fujoshit.
They're about as independent as Shaft. Lantis always handles their music and handpicks their seiyuus.
They'll probably have to do some idolshit at some point.
>They're about as independent as Shaft
And Sunrise will take Kyoanus back when QUALITY Voice and Nevergarden crash and burn.
Maybe then the idolshitters will finally get Kyoanus QUALITY on LL dancing scenes.
How much less a DVD anime cost compared to a BD?
>I don't have any concrete argument so I'll just reply with memes
Neither do you, dumbass. Shaft doesn't select what they adapt and never will.
On average between 1k and 2k yen.
So ultimately, not by a lot.
Has kyoanus ever made any original series?
>inb4 Shinbo has deferential treatment by muh Aniplex bogeyman
They didn't ask to be slaves, please have some respect
KyoAni has made originals.
But that's like 1/3rd the cost. I can afford 20 bucks.
Profit threads are ultimately bullshit used by anons who want to justify why they hate things.
Who cares about shitty bones
Don't die
I'm genuinely surprised Hero didn't sell better.
I figured it was a fresh cash cow practically dripping at the teat.
I give Bones 5 more years before it goes bankrupt
Why do people think bones will go bankrupt? They arent that hugh budget a studio and the past 2 years have resulted in alot of profit especially with kekkai and show by rock. Concrete was the only one to flop.
>5 more years of action Sakuga
Fine by me.
Do you have any reason to capitalize or are you a retard?
>Lantis handling their music is as much restraining as Aniplex choosing their every project
no u.
The only reason Shaft didn't die after Graffiti (their second TV flop in a row) is because they're on Aniplex life support.
When 3gatsu inevitably flops and Aniplex tells Shitbo "you have failed me for the last time", perhaps Godani will have a janitor position open for him.
In an alternate universe Aniplex told Shinbo, "no thanks; magical girls are old hat. Besides, this script is too similar to Kamen Rider Ryuki; do you want to get sued?"
So...how'd they get Madoka out the door then if they're slaves?
And why is Aniplex always the frigging Antichrist? Aren't Pony Canyon and Kyoanus' former owner Kadokawa just as aggressive (you know, the way producers kinda have to be)?
Hahahahaha Sup Forums is pretty easy to predict a lot of the time with the cycles
Not quite on the same level but they do have the same shitty Western pricing. Aniplex just constantly forces bad story and characterization ideas onto hapless animation production teams because they think will make them more money if they do certain things like have teenage character take even more active roles in shows than they already do. My favorite is them forcing the team for Aldnoah to change a kill shot that was going from an adult male character looking to recover from PTSD and get back into the cockpit to that bitchy Rat girl because they figured it would sell better with otaku audiences even though the last couple episodes had obviously been about leading the adult male character up to the point of redemption and Rat girl had barely been featured in that arc up to that point.
Anyway this thread is quickly spiralling into the same old Kyoani vs Shaft discussions somehow despite it starting off being about Bones so I'm outta here.
They aren't original series, so bones still gets money regardless.
At least shitpost correctly.
Another year in the red for bones.
Concrete Revolutio (season 1) 666 average
Concrete Revolutio (season 2) 422 (vol 1)
You're late dude.
>Bungou is two cour.
>Boku no Hero S2 already confirmed.
RIP Bones, we had some good times
>I'm genuinely surprised Hero didn't sell better.
Its a battle shounen, those aren't expected to push disc sales at all (in comparison Twin Star Exorcist flopped hard) so considering the stakes it did a lot better than expected.
A second season for those is good since both sold considerably well last season than most shows, shit for brains.
Twin Star Exorcist has 50 episodes. It sold the same as Dragon ball Super. It didn't flop.
It's a dumb and boring thread anyway, so there's absolutely no loss if this turns into the same-old-same-boring kyoani vs shaft derail.
So? Both of those anime won't ever get season 3
Literally sells better than most other shows do you fag.
Fuck off you retarded bones fag
Well at least their income hasn't been in the negatives for the last two years.
>KyoAni
>Capital -> 10,000,000 yen
>Workers -> 149
>Fiscal year 2013(April 2013 to March 2014)
>Sales -> 2,127,000,000 yen
>Net Income -> 143,805,000 yen
>Fiscal year 2014(April 2014 to March 2015)
>Sales -> 2,300,000,000 yen
>Net Income -> 165,301,000 yen
>Bones
>Capital -> 10,000,000 yen
>Workers -> 64
>Fiscal year 2013(April 2013 to March 2014)
>Sales -> 1,980,000,000 yen
>Net Income -> -123,500,000 yen
>Fiscal year 2014(April 2014 to March 2015)
>Sales -> 1,222,000,000 yen
>Net Income -> -63,978,000 yen
Kill yourself.
Bones bought out by GodAni soon
>It sold the same as Dragon ball Super.
DBS sold 600 copies. How is that not a flop?
Conrevo was great but it was very obviously not a show created to make money. It was masturbatory niche appeal, just like most BONES originals.
I like them but I'm not really sure why they bother making them. Is it just arthouse portfolio stuff?
>Twin Star Exorcist has 50 episodes.
And?
>It sold the same as Dragon ball Super. It didn't flop.
That's fucking terrible.
R.I.P.
>KyoAni workers -> 149
>Makes 2 shows every year
>Bones workers -> 64
>Makes shows every season
But only bones has QUALITY
>I like them but I'm not really sure why they bother making them.
Because they want to? As oppose to animating shit who's only purpose is to promote their own shitty original catalog?
Please. Kyoani can't even make action scenes like Bones without even pissing themselves.
Because they're a business. They have to make things that make money if they want to continue to exist. They don't do things just to piss money away.
Conrevo obviously didn't break even, didn't even come close, so what did it accomplish for them as a business?
Please, bitch. They're catching up in terms of art quality. Soon your precious studio won't be so special.
Twin star exorcist is a primetime anime retard and it's doing exceptionally well in terms of views in China thanks to millions of people that likes anime.
Read again
>They have to make things that make money
They haven't been doing a good job at it.
Cool bullshit bro
They'll end up getting bankrupt like Madhouse soon.
In the anime industry, getting a constant workflow is what keeps a studio afloat.
Not that such information matters in this thread for any of you. You're all going to ignore it when you redo [studiowars#231567] next week and then rehash all the same boring arguments again.
Bones uses outsourcing/freelancers while KyoAni works solely with their inhouse staff. They need more employees because they can't rely on outside help like a Tokyo studio would.
>Twin star exorcist is a primetime anime
So is BnHA. What's your point?
>and it's doing exceptionally well in terms of views in China
Citation needed also irrelevant
>Bones uses outsourcing/freelancers
Most of animators working on OPM are from Bones, including Yutaka Nakamura. I'd say their number of talented animators are in good standing.
>They have to make things that make money if they want to continue to exist
Out of their original catalog only two thus far has been successful (Chuu2 and Euphonium) the test flopped or underperformed. So they're essentially making shit and getting shit returns while BONES is just doing whatever they want to in between a steady flow of work. Who would have fucking fought SHAFT wpuld be adapting the award winning 3 Gatsu Lion while KyoAni is wasting their talent.
It has garnered almost 47 million views with just 13 episodes according to the website that has the license for the show.
>The total amount of play: 46,990,000 times
>test
*rest
Difference is BnHA has the better timeslot and yet its performance was below average.
>Citation needed also irrelevant
sure user.
