Looked cool

Beams aren't supposed to drill, but this one does. That's why it's so special.

It was a drill.

Piccolo did make 2 saiyans croak with only one shot.

it's a piercing attack, like how the kienzan is a cutting attack

the former actually kills something

...

Should've been spiral beam cannon

Looks like onion rings

It's a demon's murder cannon of piercing light.

thanx doc

it defied power levels

It's literal translation would be something like "Devil Drill Beam" but, of course, murrifags can't say or hear "devil".

youtube.com/watch?v=dCjNi20daiI

he can do it with 1 hand

The power is concentrated. It makes no sense later because muh powerlevel and pico becomes weak comparated to goku but technically this is the strongest attack after genkidama.

>It's literal translation would be something like "Devil Drill Beam"
No, Makkankosappo is like Demon Light Flash or some shit like that.

>No, Makkankosappo is like Demon Light Flash

Wasn't that the Masenko?

>posting bout proper translations
>missing the point

devil drill beam is still a problematic name because the attack has nothing to do with devils (then again Kamehameha has nothing to do with turtles)

Isn't the Turle part thanks to it being a attack created by the Turtle School?

"The Demon King Piccolo"

sexy and aesthetic af

stop being a bitch and take your dose

Piccolo literally used to be a demon before they ruined everything with aliens

I just now realized that they actually said devil in the German dub

spot the american

I liked the Finnish translated name a lot.
>Surmankierre
"Spiral of Death", "kierre" meaning spiral and "surma" meaning death. However, the exact context is a little more complicated than that. In modern Finnish, "surma" is more or less a synonym for "kuolema", or death, but more specifically it implies a death that was accidental and potentially violent. There's an old idiom in Finnish, "joutua surman suuhun", "end up in surma's mouth", which means one is going into a dangerous situation, and gives the impression that surma is some sort of beast or hellhound that one is devoured by upon death. And in that sense the use of the word "surma" here lines up with the original Japanese name for the move really well, with its use of "ma" or devil, while also not going overboard with the length of the name like a full translation of the original name would.

Autism: The Post

If linguistics is autism, then I want to be the master autist

It'd be a much cooler attack if it were named something like "spiral death beam" or "doom laser" or nail gun"

...

that was informative and interesting.

lol taking a deep interest in something and developing yourself? Fucking shit thats so autistic I bet you dont even sit inside for months on end bitching about
>tfw no gf

>kienzan
>not using the dub names

>nothing to do with turtles
>Literally takes half a saga to charge it

Okay

...

it killed goku

Special beam cannon is just a fancy word combination for laser.

>Kame Hame Ha is the Turtle school's ultimate attack
>Taught by a guy that literally calls himself "Kame Sennin" or Turtle Hermit
>nothing to do with turtles

>Devil Drill Beam
>Masenko (DEMON flash)
>HELLzone grenade
>DEMON KING PICCOLO
>Nothing to do with devils

American spotted.

>the attack has nothing to do with devils

Looks unique with its circle rings shape
