Delinquent thread

Only delinquents allowed to post here

Off to a terrible start OP.

I want more Kenka Banchou games, especially for the last and current gen consoles.

With Gachitora as a cherry on top.

Sorry, wrong doors.

>not a delinquent
>if you post here though, you reject the rules and do it anyway
>making you a delinquent

Your argument eats itself OP!

I'm here.

Jesus this thread is weak as fuck.

Any news about any sequels?

Would you actually want a sequel? I mean it would be 100 new characters to learn. I hope he'd go back to make more stuff like Kiku.

Are delinquents bullies?

No bullying allowed

...

>harima
>delinquent

was pic related a delinquent or just tsundere?

I believe most of the thread is right, holy shit harima is a fucking bro

...

I miss School Rumble

best girl

No Jotaro yet? Really?

As do I

Delinquents can be bros.

He's not a delinquent, just autistic. And neither is Josuke, he just has a pompadour nothing else.

>Not josuke

Yo

>being a tripfag

Hell yeah, that part made me love Crows and Worst even more. That there is always going to be someone stronger than you and I'm not talking Bleach-style, but the Tokyo Group in Worst's final arc.

I still hope to see more of him (even though I know that the cances are zero and that it'd probably be shit anyway)

Is this a underrated or is it just shit by Sup Forums standards?
I've only seen a forum talking about it and that's it.

The stories leading up to the fights are often pretty good, especially pic related, and the style reminds me a lot of Hiroshi's. One downside though is that some characters really aren't used often.

...

It's just not very popular, no one knows it even exists and delinquents is a pretty niche genre.

...

Delinquent with a hearth of gold is my favorite archetype

In her youth. As much as one could be a delinquent in her podunk town.

Is this Gang King senpai? I'm having a hard time with Google.

...

It's Saru Lock.

Finally this chart is done! Thanks ChartAnon!

You're welcome, glad I'm done with it finally. Now I gotta make one of those "If you like X, try Y" flow chart.

Bakuon Rettou. I haven't released this chapter yet because I'm waiting for my editor to finish the one prior to it.
The chart really helps. I have a lot more to translate thanks to this.

Hey thanks for the Shinjuku Swan releases, Haven't read the past chapters since the bulk but I'm glad you're keeping on with it, can't wait for the art to improve as well.

Posting a real delinquent.

Man, this shit is good. Thanks a whole lot.

Ever since 7th grade it's been my dream to become a Japanese High School tough.

FUCK, should i read this again? it's so fucking good

...

How come Ocha Nigosu isn't fully translated when there's only like a few chapters of the whole manga left untranslated?

The last release was like 80 days ago. If it gets past 100 then I'll finish it.

...

Ah okay, thanks user.

There's some girl working on it but she's just extremely slow, let's hope she doesn't release anything in the next 20 days though. Might be weird but if it does get to 100 days perhaps working on it from 1 chapter ahead just in case the person working on it releases the chapter they're working for you can save yourself the trouble of that chapter and her time doesn't go to waste.

Saru Lock is dope, everyone's go to read it its hilarious.

I feel dividing this thing into tiers can only cause dumb arguments, but otherwise it's great.

...

>Are delinquents bullies?

D-dont worry. I'll protect you

Holyland really doesn't fit this. It's all about fighting and not really between delinquents either, only like three side characters fit the stereotype.

You high as fuck dawg, Holyland is pure delinquency.

>between the adult world and the world of kids
>being rejected by society
>looking for thrills on the streets that normally aren't found in the stage
>graduating from delinquency

>not really about delinquents
>all about fighting

Come on now. The least you could do for this great manga is to not speed-read it.

That's true, but fuck it it's worth it, I'd never recommend Sugarless to anyone, at least this was people know what they're getting into.

...

Yuu quickly turns into a vigilante. Delinquency and conflict between delinquents get shoved more and more to the side until by the end he's bordering on going up against the Yakuza.
Yes a lot of themes are the same, especially the idea of "finding a place" in the streets, so I suppose it could fit in that sense, but there's relatively little delinquent culture. Hell, just read the blurb at the top of the chart and tell me how much of it you can find in Holyland.

It's okay if it's a split personality, right?

None of the info on the charts contradicts what appears in Holyland or what is delinquency, it very briefly state what delinquency was like, some classic characteristics and common tendencies, doesn't mean it didn't evolve or that it was the same for everyone. But part of it still applies to Holyland, just because the story of Yuu doesn't center on the common delinquent narrative doesn't mean it's not delinquent.

To clarify something though, a few or even several of the manga on the chart are not your generic or super common delinquent manga, some might even be a stretch to call delinquent, but still, they're all "delinquent enough" to be on the list. I mean if you read several of the other manga on the list you'd be coming at me with this same argument for many of them.

KANEDAAAAAAAAAAA

Fuuuuck America

Then I guess we just have a different idea of what is "delinquent enough". To me Holyland is a martial arts manga first, and a delinquent manga second, as it shares some of the themes with the genre but takes relatively little from it in terms of story, characters, or setting.

And yes, I'm far from having read all the manga on that chart, especially when it comes to the lower half of it.

t. Buttflusterd user

>terms of story
Unhappy kid at home and school.

>characters
Everyone is just like him, hanging out on the streets, annoyed by school and there's also bullying and whatnot.

>setting
the streets...

Honestly man you just got the wrong definition of delinquency then, really can you define it to me in detail what is a delinquent manga to you?

I think I might be in the wrong thread

This was really good, until his girlfriend began being fucking irritating and stopping all of his fights. Did it ever get good again?

Nah, it has a good finale but halfway through it gets really repetitive till the end.
