When you want to shoot in a simulated full auto with a bump stock, you press forward on the front grip, which slides the stock back into your shoulder, revealing the trigger (hidden under a little guard in the stock. You pull the trigger, the recoil causes the rifle to push backwards, pushing your finger off the trigger, until your body naturally pushes the front forward again, revealing the trigger again, which you can then fire again. Repeat. Since it takes a deliberate action (one pull of the trigger) every time the rifle fires one bullet, its is totally legal and does not change the classification to "machinegun".
