SBR should be between 48 and 52 episodes long. It doesn't need to be insanely long. It's biggest issue is already pacing. No need to have that translate into animation.
Wheel of Fortune, Let's Go Hunting, one of the last assassin fights, I get the names mixed up, Green Day or Oasis or whatever they were called, I thought the pacing suffered there, I wouldnt remove anything from 6 or 7

SBR has amazing pacing, the fact that the final fight dragged on for years aside. The way the story builds to a crescendo is second to none in JJBA, it's Araki's masterpiece.

It's okay to like SBR, but the pacing is shit. It was hyped up so much, but put me to sleep half the time. I didn't like it very much at all.

I don't think you understand how pacing works, or just how much longer SBR is than SDC.
Until we got to DIO's World we pretty much saw every single panel adapted, with the DIO's World pace it was fucking shit because we weren't even given time to absorb anything before the next badly scribbled event was thrown at us.
If you went through SBR the same way it'd have to go even faster than DIO's World, it would be ridiculous.
Anime and manga are all about establishing shots and setting and atmosphere, Steel Ball Run more than any other part of JoJo, too.
And fucking loads happens in it.
