In all seriousness (100% serious rn) I think corporate punditry fucks with your brain worse than chronic alcohol abuse. You should talk to some of these people if you can. Talk to a local pundit, full of even more desperation and despair than a guy like O'Reilly. When your job is to explain the nature of human events in such a filtered way it doesn't take very long for you to go insane, especially in your capacity to rationalize fucked up happenings and put them into some sort of narrative-based perspective. This is the result of a lifetime of that. He writes his own headlines. They aren't news reporters, they're news makers, trying to get more circulation where they can on a subconscious level. Corporate drones, skimming the surface level of all this chaos and trying to make sense of it to even simpler people. That is what a pundit is.
We should gas most of these people and bring back community heralds for news imo.
