I think people seriously understimate LN.
Coming with a premise for a LN is easy, just..."follow the recipie", get any magic school battle harem replace the name and...it's done! right? Well, NO, that's just the premise, writting a premise and the whole work are completly different thing.
After the premise comes writting the actual plot of the novel, which events happen in what order is not only "here they go to the beach" or "here they go to train" or "here that guy betrays them" events alone aren't enough, you have to connect them properly
And then you have to write the actual thing, with dialogues, detailed descriptions, etc and all in a way that catch readers attention.
Despite what Sup Forums belives not anyone can write a LN, at most they can write a premise for a LN
