G-Reco

This shit isn't nearly as bad as what you guys make it out to be.
The only real problem I had with the show is how these two were good characters at first but devolved into an entitled asshole and a cockslave.

Luin's character arc was probably one of the best things to come out of G-Reco

...

He was literally so jealous of Bellri that he was frantically coming up with reasons why Bellri should die.
It was /r9k/ tier bullshit and I'm surprised Bellri didn't just turn around and kill him so he can get along with stopping a war.

It wasn't bad, just highly condensed and should have been 50 episodes long. Another problem was that there were too many fights, so a lot of the fights felt like they hamfisted into the episode.

To be fair when push came to shove he couldn't even kill Bellri when he had the chance. Kinda shows that even with a fairly impressive kill count under his belt, Luin wasn't inhumanized to the point of killing someone he knows without hesitation.

>entitled asshole
He's just sad his ancestors were all literal Bernie Burgers

I enjoyed the show, but that was definitely everything wrong with it right there.

It would have been so much better if episode 26 ended at the Venus globe, and then a new series started up with the G-IT lab attacking in a new series leading up to the final battle back on earth. That would have been so much better.

I hope the movies iron out a lot of the flaws or at least remove extraneous plot details to make for smoother flow of storytelling.

Didn't he almost kill Bellri right at the end? He completely trashed the G-Self and probably would have wrecked it further.

Here he has the G-Self dead to rights with the muzzle of his rifle pointing directly at the cockpit, but hesitates to shoot until a bird crashes into his camera, and then fires recklessly in a panic when it does, showing how tense he is at that moment.

Later on, when he attempts to shoot the G-Self point-blank again, he points the muzzle at its head instead of the cockpit.

I was disappointed that we only really get glimpses of the G-Self's true power since Bellri was holding back most of the time.

Tomino said the G-Self Perfect Pack might be stronger than the Turn A.

Of course since it relies on shitty photon batteries it's not nearly as dangerous in the long-term.

>Implying Luin getting too deep into his delusions wasn't great
Shame about Manny though.

>Shame about Manny though.
>most loyal waifu
>shame

>willing to kill her friends because her boyfriend delusionally is attempting to
>cant even form her own opinion
Raraiya was best girl btw

Cheered on her man from start to finish. Best cheerleader, best girl.

SOCHIE'D

She'll pleasure herself with the fish.

That epilogue was fantastic.

No Gundam show needs 4 cours, 3 properly built ones are more than enough to cover good story whila avoiding to pad the shit out of it just to fulfill the quota.

>Kilm ramming his father with the ship
It was great.

>1 cour on Earth
>1 cour on Towasanga
>1 cour for Venus Globe and the finale
Sounds good.

G gundam, Turn A, 00, all worked well having 4 cours, although I do agree with you 36 episodes might have been good enough for G reco

seems like shit

No, it was a complete mess in every regard. Probably the worst anime I've ever seen. Not even generic haremshit like Hundred or Isuca is this bad.

It's hilarious that gundamfags defended this shitshow because their God can do no wrong but then Tomino went and admitted he fucked up with Greco and it was a total mess. Despite that they still defend this atrocity to this day and claim that everyone who didn't like it has shit taste and were too stupid to understand this thing.

>Tomino went and admitted he fucked up with Greco and it was a total mess
that's over exaggerating

He admitted it needed more episodes because the pacing was wack and crippled some areas of the show's story, other than that everything else about the show was fine.
But when it came out there were a lot of annoying Tomino fanboys crawling out of the shadows resulting in a backlash,a very strong one
