90s had the best aesthetics

90s had the best aesthetics

Nope. It was shit.

True Bro.

Skin looks fat and greasy.

Comfy as hell

implying a decade just using early 90, 94 at max works.
kek

There's only a small handful of shows that had the precise style shown in this dumb pic.

your taste is shit

80's was the best in that picture.

Makes me miss the old days where studios would just shit out OVAs for no reason other than the fact that they had money.

Eve is better.

80s is the best looking era prove me wrong.

There is no denying the 80s churned out some of the best looking animation ever. But the 90s also put out its fair share of mind-blowing animation in terms of aesthetic quality. Most people agree that Macross Plus is still the best looking piece of hand drawn cel animation out there to this day and there is really no matching any of Oshii's 90s films, they were all visually stunning and much more alive than anything from the 80s.

good 90's shit is the best

>and there is really no matching any of Oshii's 90s films
except Oshii's 80s films, which are superior in every aspect except photorealism.

the original burn up designs were far better

floofloof

Jungle de Ikou was shit.

too generic

There's no such thing as "too generic" when that genre is the best thing possible.

>Tenshi no Tamago

Sure that's one I'll give you. But there is nothing else he did in the 80s that can match his work in the 90s on any front.

If anything, what you posted is generic. The epitome of generic 90s anime character design. Watch more anime, newfriend.

There's no such thing as "the 90s".

The early 90s are a continuation of the 80s and the late 90s are the beginning of the 2000s.

Culturally speaking of course.

Midway through the 90s everything (everything that matters) became glum and sad and pretentious and we still haven't recovered from it.

>became glum and sad and pretentious and we still haven't recovered from it.
Actually we were, until 9/11 happened, and then the recession happened. Bad things happening in the real world tend to depress fiction.

No decade looks more anime like than the 90s. In the early 2000s, the 90s style disappeared, and modern anime looks much less anime like. That's a cool thing about the 90s. If you want the real "anime" feeling, no decade will bring it more than the 90s. 90s anime is just so anime, which is great when that's what you're looking for.

Nene is the only anime girl whose scent I can feel.

>Obari
>accurate representation of cute girls in the 90s

That's not Nene you dumb whore.
