i agre gud thing cum 2 thos who wate

You're better off watching Taiwanese wuxia puppet shows at this point.

>gets worse and worse with every new episode
>episode 2

Besides the second one was better than the first, not that it means much but its something.

Havent seem this pasta since kill la kill was airing

Dat OST though

>having any hopes for Berserk after movies

How?

Delicious old pasta.

[clang]

People unironically watch this shit?

...

I'm enjoying it profusely but that's just because the protagonist is basically me.

Guts isn't particularly intelligent, but I'll grant you that he's very nihilistic and with a wicked sense of humor.

I'm enjoying it, but just trying to overlook the fact that its CGI.

>I had such high hopes for this series, but it just gets worse and worse with every new episode.
I miss this meme. Thanks for bringing it back, OP.

I suppose we all have some darkness inside...

...

>high hopes
you fucking retard kill yourself

well people were saying the manga is amazing, so I figured the show would at least be good but it's really bad.

>high hopes for this series

Were have you been this last decade?

Fantasia is largely shit so far.
The movies were pretty bad.
Miyazaki has now gone digital and it is getting worse.
They announced a Berserk Musou game

What in the world gave you hopes? What made you think this would be good?
When was the last time anything Berserk was good?

>Fantasia is largely shit so far.
>The movies were pretty bad.
>Miyazaki has now gone digital and it is getting worse.
>They announced a Berserk Musou game
One of these things is not like the others.

Musou games are terrible come on.

Your taste is what's terrible.

Fight me.

The best thing come of this anime is it getting me to reread The Lost Children arc. That first episode was god awful in every way.

I could fight a thousand of you.

I am sure you think you could. Considering you like Musou games.

HAI-YO

>Berserk gets shit CGI and terrible adaptation
>Gantz gets amazing CGI and hopefully good adaptations

At this point it feels like the only thing that can turn Miura on is disappointing the fanbase.

At least it's not golden age again. Seriously that's like all Berserk is to some people.

> toho animation - epic gantz manga
> noname retarded company - retarded manga back from 80-s

I'm on Conviction arc on my first read through the manga. Golden Age completely blew me away and it hasn't really been the same since. Is it ever that good again?

Conviction is better than Golden age imo.

I had high hopes for this girl.

What the hell is this? I never heard of it before. Is it good, or is it like the first anime?

Just stick to the manga.

CG has gotten very far. Kingsglaive looks amazing too.

Wow, this actually looks incredible. I'm surprised.

It looks dubbed.

> cg 11/10
> actual game 4/10

You solved another case, Mr. Holmes.

sasuga, shelrock-sama

Did they animate that with the English voices in mind?

But I thought the the scenes were recorded in Japanese.

Been a while since I've seen this meme.

if it wasn't CGI shit it would be bearable

Reception
The premier episode of Berserk has received mostly positive reviews from Western critics. IGN contributor Maghan Sullivan gave the opening episode a score of 8.5 out of a possible 10, in the review Sullivan praised the episodes' direction stating, "despite the somewhat distracting visuals, "The Branded Swordsman" gets Guts' quest for vengeance off to a strong start." [21]

Writer Cecilia D'Anastasio applauded the opening episode in a review published by Kotaku, going so far as to state that it "already outshines the 90's original." Though, noting the series' sub-par animation quality, D'Anastasio concluded, "Berserk is not for the faint-hearted. But “The Branded Swordsman” proved to me that directors of fighting-heavy anime are making more of an effort to beautify and civilize the genre, doing justice to manga that showcases writing and ingenuity.

I'm actually amazed at how upset that Kotaku article made me.

>already outshines the 90's original

>somewhat distracting visuals, "

understatement of the year

>directors of fighting-heavy anime are making more of an effort to beautify and civilize the genre
>beautify and civilize the genre

weird way to spell "pussify"

It's like women just want everything to be shit.
