I made the nursing home thread the other day and it was quite interesting to see how most posters here would abandon their parents.

I didn't click on that thread, but I remember seeing the title.
Honestly, if my parents end up in the state that my grandmothers and one of my grandfathers ended up in towards their ends, it would be hard for me to not seriously consider mercy killing them. I'd want somebody to mercy kill me in that state, hopefully it never comes to that.
