First they need to stop forcing their shitty rehashed direction in every show.

>implying Shaft is not just a Gatari shit machine
That studio canot be saved , just like Kyoani

KinoAni for you

Did shaft only make 50 burger bucks profit or something?

There's worse studios than shaft

I'll never understand the hate kyoani gets on this board

for every shit show they put together they make two outstanding ones.

20 million yen or 200k dollars from april 2015 to march 2016. Even with Nisekoi S2 (4k), Graffiti (2k), Owari (28k), Koyomi (28k), Kizu (800 million yen), they made less profit than KyoAni, that only made Hibike (8k), Phantom World (2k) and High Speed movie (680 million yen).

The only clear conclusion is that Aniplex takes all the money.

it's like faggots have forgotten that before bake and madoka SHAFT were known for releasing flop after flop after flop.

3Gatsu will save Shaft.

>Even with Nisekoi S2 (4k), Graffiti (2k), Owari (28k), Koyomi (28k), Kizu (800 million yen), they made less profit than KyoAni,
Wow.

V.E.G. will save KyoAni.

That's nothing. Wait until V.E.G.

They don't need saving.

Looks like this studio thinks with there SHAFT

>rehashed direction
>not recognizing it as a coherent visual language that serves as their calling card long before you see the credits

Are you sure they are not hiding their real profits? I can imagine they mark up the costs for things to make it seem they arent making a profit while they are making quite a bit.

Movie studios do some sneaky shit where on paper they dont make a profit but we all know they do. theatlantic.com/business/archive/2011/09/how-hollywood-accounting-can-make-a-450-million-movie-unprofitable/245134/

>outstanding
More like pretty good. They don't stand up to Shaft's best. They play things too safe.

*their

>SHAFT's best

Does that balance reflect Phantom Sales' losses? I notice it came out before that show ended.

This. Everything they've put out not named Madoka, Monogatari or Nisekoi flopped.

If it weren't for their Aniplex life support they'd have died long ago, possibly after Vampire Bund flopped.

Wasn't Phantom Sales their third TV flop in a row?

Since they're on their own, they absorb losses too, y'know.

There's like 2 more volumes left to be released. But I don't think it matters much since they invested in that show last year, if anything, any amount of BD sales they make will be profit.

It's the small but vocal post modern Sup Forums crowd. KyoAni has always been one of the few studios that most of Sup Forums loves and trusts. They did change, evolve, to a certain degree and some might or do not like that. An insignificant minority no doubt.

Amaburi and Hibike were not flops.

>in a row
What?

What's the accurate picture for "Meanwhile at Shaft" in this case?

What would be the other two flops "in a row"?

...

You're thinking of Shat, retard. Koufuku was their third TV flop in a row.

If 3gatsu bombs (which is likely considering the average NHK audience doesn't watch anime), their Aniplex slavemasters may consider pulling the plug.

...

This. Shaftshitters are modern "art" fans who think a bunch of random splatters on a canvas are equivalent to the Mona Lisa or Rembrandt.

It doesn't really matter if 3-gatsu flops or not. It's publicly funded.

>Negima
>Hidamari
>flops
I don't wanna go and look for the numbers user but one had a TV run with several OVAs afterwards and the other has like 6 seasons. I'd hardly call that a commercial flop

They evolved like how T. rexes evolved into chickens.

The Hidamari and SZS fanbases are very loyal. Their seasons always sell relatively well even after all these years, it never drops from 8-10k~

With any other series you usually see a 20-30% decrease in sales for each iteration.

All these moefags and hipsterfags thinking their shitty studio will ever top Sunrise

>being a heathen on a Christian image board

Idolshit is dying after Honkergate; one more Gundam flop and they're gone.

>Sup Forums is getting bored with consolewars so they start the studiowars-meme on Sup Forums
fuck off

Studio meme wars is part of Sup Forums's culture though.

Good, then GODANI can make the next big idol franchise. They make everything better; they'll start the next big idol boom.

t. Sup Forumsirgin

>GodAni in all caps

It's you again, Mr. Falseflagger

Idol/Gundamshitters, filterfags, and powerpointfags thinking their shitty studios will ever top Silver Link

KyoAni need plenty saving.

>Caring about irrelevant studios

Next youre going to tell me DEEN redeemed themselves with MemeSuba.

For starters, they need better writers. We'll see if they learned their lesson with VEG.

No they don't.

youtube.com/watch?v=aJSXEsoT-ZI

Will Sup Forums watch this movie?

I don't know about Sup Forums but I will. So fucking excited.

>fuck up manga art style
No, oneshot is better

How did they make it look exactly like the manga

Produce the conclusions to Monogatari and Madoka and send their flagships off into the sunset.

Pick up Voynich Hotel.

Finish SZS.

Start another original series.

And not really in their control, but I'd like if they could get Asuka Ogame, Ai Nonaka, and perhaps Kaori Fukuhara in the cast.

Bring back Team Shinbo. Maybe it's just wishful thinking, but somehow they seemed like they had more fun making their stuff pre-Monogatari. Seemed like there was more of an anything-goes atmosphere at the time.

>dat kyoanus QUALITY

>K-On! (2009)

That rarely happens anymore. Meanwhile at SHAFT (Kizumonogatari, a fucking movie)

>make two of the highest selling TV animes ever
>still see no money because aniplex takes it all

Being shaft is sufferings

They should go independent like KinoAni

They'd be dead within a year if they did.

I don't think you know what quality means.

K-On's movie shits all over Kizu in production values, hell even the TV version shits on it.

Nonaka will definitely be in a future Shaft show, Ogame possibly, but Fukuhara's not just a has-been, she's a was-for-a-few-months. She was one of those rookies kyoanusfags love to talk about who get one or two more lead roles and then get relegated to Female Student D roles for the rest of their career. Plus she's with Avex; they don't ever seem to work with Aniplex at all.

>this post
oh boy

>he doesn't know what art shifts are

A-Channel was Aniplex (unfortunately).

>he doesn't know what QUALITY is

Post more kyoanus QUALITY.

...

...

...

...

Ura On is meant to look like that.

Post more uraon

The point went way above your head from the beginning idiot

NIsekoi flopped?

I'm looking at their various productions and Koufuku and Mekakucity are clearly two. What's the third?

Can't be Hanamonogatari, can it?

Unfortunately for Aniplex or unfortunately for Gokumi?

Aniplex. Gokumi doesn't deserve any respect from anyone for making supermarket Madoka.

A-Channel was supermarket K-On and Kinmoza was supermarket K-On with Brits, so we should've seen it coming.

there is nothing to fix, SHAFT still awesome and i can't way for Fate extra, Zaregoto and Kizu movies

it's almost like kyoani is also a publisher of the shit they produce

Mekaku definetly didn't flop, it broke 10k which most shows struggle to do, unless the projected sales for it were ridiculously high

Hana didn't flop either it was one of the top selling shows of the season like most monogatari seasons, Nisekoi preformed about average, the first season broke 6k I think

Weren't they also taking gubmint money from their home prefecture or was that PA Works? (Which is way more similar to kyoanus than Shaft. Why aren't there more Kyoanus v. PA Works shitposting wars threads?)

Because PA Flopsfags usually don't try to claim they're better than Kinoani, unlike shaftshitters.

SHAFT vs KyoAni was exist because monogatari BTFO'd Haruhi's sales. And PA works is irrelevant studio.
