Is there a more pure-hearted reptile?

Is there a more pure-hearted reptile?

The lizard people are becoming my favorite characters in the series.

I'm glad they get to live.

>the page after with his tail thumping around uncontrollably and his embarassment

I didn't know lizard-people also spilled their spaghetti.

Are these the lizardfolk from Stravaganza?

Overlord probably. Only read the LN.

>I'm glad they get to live.

So why do the protagonists want to kill them all?

>courting growl
>literally lizard boner
my fucking sides

he's a necromancer. he needs corpses to make him spooky undead army. He has access to humans but stronger corpses make stronger undead, so he's testing the waters to see if it would be easier to just capture abunch of lizardmen to make slightly stronger undead.

did they? dont they come back by revival or something?

mangá name?

youre spoiling it for the secondaries.

Overlord

It's going to be ages before we get Volume 10 officially in English isn't it? Is the first volume done well at least?

Pero is female, Shalltear is rabbit.

Pero being female's a blunder, but I have no idea what you mean by the second part.

How many chapters till Shallchair?

3

Ahem.

Overlord.

He's not a lizard, he's a normal man cursed with a lizard head.

Is tail thumping their foreplay?

Basically they are excited.

Something about that whole scene is equal parts hilarious and endearing.

I feel more for the lizardmen than I have for any humans so far.

>I feel more for the lizardmen than I have for any humans so far.
Good. Hold onto that feeling. You're going to need it.

I came here to post this. Kaiman is best lizard of all time.

When Albedo and Shalltear exchange insults, they mistranslated them.

Is Kaiman even pure hearted? He kills people.

Wait, so they ended with monty python and the holy grail level insults?

Did we ever get more Ainz after the lizard people arc? It was so boring I dropped it in the middle.

Dorohedoro is kill or be killed

>Missing Ainz luring thiefs to the tomb to cause an international incident
>Missing Ainz summuning HP Lovecraft level monsters and killing 70,000 soldiers with one spell
>Missing Ainz creating an actual kingdom and invading shit

>simply wants his real head back and gyoza
>wants to help his only and best buddy Nikaido tend to the restaurant
>not pure hearted

Fuck outta here nigga.

>I feel more for the lizardmen than I have for any humans so far.
That was the entire point of the lizardmen arc, and it was lost on most people.

Will we see some real strategy in the LN?

I meant battle strategy, so far only vol. 4 sealed with battle formations and skirmishes, maybe Ainz will try to use a "weak" army such as trained Lizards or low level POPs or mercenaries, to not make a slaughter again, somehow people don't care about how many die but how they die, so if they see their kingdom fall in an "honorable" battle instead of a dark spell they might be more willing t accept their new rulers.

because they're the most boring characters the series has

I get they wanted to show some dumb shonen shit to then show how much they get shit on, but you didn't need to make most of a volume into it

taylor swift, before kanye.

It's been quite a few months since I've read the novels, but iirc the two other big "fights" between low tier stuff is when they invade the kingdom and then when a bunch of people are hired to steal from nazarick.

The latter's more mid-tier than low-tier, though.

Get some real public dick waving going on with volume 9.

It's my favorite volume because it's all setup for Ainz conquering shit and I liked the fights.
They really toned down the shounenz the past three volumes.

I would probably hate it less if I wasn't reading the novels on a long ass road trip, so slogging through lizard shonen adventures was pretty much the only thing I could do for hours

That was exactly how I read it too, I thought it was shit at first then I came to understand its brilliance or stockholm syndrome either one

Volume 4, 5, and 6 have slowed down my reading quite a bit. 5 was okay since we had some sebas stuff, but honestly, there are just so many chapters about non-nazarick people. I just want to see more stuff from their points of view, why is it all about climb and brain and gazef now?

I can understand how you feel, but I honestly was mostly ok with those chapters.

Sebas acquiring a waifu and then shitting on anyone who dared interfere was funny for a while.

Besides that it's scheming between Renner and Demiurge, probably.

No, they mistranslated "yatsume unagi" (lamprey) as "usagi" (rabbit).

They just didn't care.

Because Overlord is more than just Nazarick, it's about the world they're in.

Knowing how high the grass grows throws the height of a sequoia redwood into perspective.

>Perobroncino
>Female

Are they "translating" the names?

I'm assuming it's gonna be Simmering Teakettle?

I get that, but they could have done it in the same way volume 2 did it, by having nazarick personnel dwelling among the grass, so to speak, and having us see how it works from their perspective within that setting

Fair enough. Maybe there'll be more Sebas adventures in v11, or something.

This looks cute, source?

Overlord.

Don't get too attached to the lizards though.

Oh wait I forgot they got revived and then were actually not a deterrent to the story.

So there's that.
