It's space tuna, it has more room to grow.
because minmei is a whore
It takes place in the far off year of 2009
Why wouldn't we have Tuna that big by then?
That's how big bluefin tuna is.
It's just a big tuna, there's plenty of those around
Jesus I had no idea Tuna were so large
I used to have a screenshot of the tuna ramming its face into Hikaru's bum. If anyone can frame step through that scene, hook me up kudasai.
Don't worry, you won't have to know that for much longer.
Bluefin tuna are probably going to be hunted to extinction within the next 20 years or so unless China collapses very, very soon and Japan/Korea similarly don't for whatever reason ramp up fishing of high-priced gourmet fish.
>neither of these is foreseeably happening
>ramp up
I think you mean "cut down on". But yeah, unfortunately, say goodbye to high-quality maguro. (And that means you too, Asia.)
Because you can't tuna fish.
That sure is a biiiiig tuna fish!
What's the ep
truly the worst
Tuna has bright yellow spikes?

How do you even fish out something like that with a fishing pole. Like that tuna is probably 3 times the weight of that man. Goddamn.
Not really sure which frame you're talking about senpai, this is as close as it gets to butt ramming.
...
Nice, thanks.
>butt rimming
The US is the only country that really seems to care. The EU does more overfishing of it than even Japan.
Who cares about a fucking fish? There are endless amounts of them.
lol, yeah, it's totally sustainable to consume 1/3 of a species in a year
>she likes an alpha male instead of a beta faggot like me. What a whore!
Spoken like a true beta cuck.
Minmay a best
>people eat fish
wtf i hate asians now
If a species can't be domesticated it deserves to go extinct.
while were on the subject , having tuna head for dinner is not bad either.
too obvious m8
Why not just farm the Tuna?
How long do they take to get that size? A couple years? It's doable.
>How do you even fish out something like that with a fishing pole.
You use nets, not poles. Then you drag em up on a ramp. They swim in large schools so it's easy to capture them with nets.
This is the kind of question that's really easy to google.

so you are saying in 3 years there will be no more tuna? lol
is Big Tuna even in a typical Chinese meal?China is not that big of player in Blufin Tuna.
>there's plenty of those around
Well, not so much these days. Thanks, Japan/Sushi!
Also worth noting before you read the article, these farms that they're struggling to maintain hold about 60 tons of Bluefin. Global consumption gets up to 60,000 tons.
No, they repopulate to an extent, and there are efforts being made to cut back. The problem is that most countries don't want to cut back, and the only one really trying is the US.
You think I don't know that?
I'm just lonely and Sup Forums is literally the entirety of my social interaction with other humans.
Why are people so small?
Why is this girl's butt so big?
woah
For you
Foreshortening.

Yeah look at those darn europeans, do they have no respect for nature at all?
Australia cares a lot as well for some reason.
Why are people so damn huge?
-t. mice
>individual fishing boats are indicative of the entire fishing economy of a country
The EU is literally setting its fishing limits at twice what they're told the sustainable limit is.
You tend to have a lot of respect for conservation of species when you're at the bottom of your own food chain.
>Why not just farm the Tuna?
They are carnivores. It makes it really expensive to raise them, as vegetarian feeds are much cheaper. You are basically feeding the tuna fish-meat, to get less fish meat back.
