Name the first anime that made you cry. I thought I was a rock and didn't cry when I watched angel beats, clannad, grave of the fireflies, etc. But somehow this yellow-tentacled piece of shit managed to make me cry and not just a little cry like you've just watched your pet die in front of your cry

what part made you cry?
The ending what else. They had to kill koro sensie even. they really didn't need to kill him
None have yet, and it's been quite a while now.
Death Parade instilled a little emotion in me, but nowhere near making me cry. I honestly can't remember the last time I've cried out of emotion, must've been 7+ years ago.
>watch bits and pieces of the anime, season 1 is shit
>try out season 2, some episodes are bretty gud, Chairman backstory and Nagisa mom introduction are done really well
>finale blows me out of the water even when I didn't care much for the actual manga ending when I first read it
It's so rare to see a studio actually get better within such a short time frame.
Toradora
One Piece
Naruto
Shigatsu
Kuroko no Basuke

>not even thinly veiled rec thread
Assassination Classroom wasnt what i expected but it still is a good manga, i was looking for a shift of tone but never happened, or that all the korosensei weaknesses to exploited
I know what you mean. I also wanted to see more about Koro sensei's past. I feel like it was half asses for some reason

Top 1 saddest moment for me 2nd is when Hide from Tokyo Ghoul died on Kaneki's arm :(
Ending of Valvarave and Code geass
first time was bad enough, but I rewatched it recently and it wrecked my shit
Fucking existential crisis for a couple weeks afterward
This was sad af
Tokyo Magnitude was the closest I've come to full on tears.
I watched Bakemono no Ko last night which got me emotional.
When all of Kirito's friends died in SAO I cried my eyes out for weeks.
valvarave was good
seeing characters lose their memories is always sad
Your Lie in April wasn't the saddest of anime cause I suppose everyone sort of had a happy ending, Kaori got to live her life to the max for a year and the MC got his shit together.
This song made every moment so much impactful though:

;_;
SOLA
Also seeing characters get old, or graduate in sol is pretty sad since it's the end of the series
I haven't cried since I was a child, but the ends of K-On and Hidamari Sketch made me emotional.
I suppose episodes of Natsume Yuujinchou and Mushishi have also made me feel things.
Music was great, really fucked in the end though with the letter.
I hope the childhood friend wins anyways
One Piece
i cried for 2 hours after the Chopper arc
I'm an emotional piece of shit so I watch tons of romance/drama and almost always cry at least once but Cross Game, Honey&Clover and GotF made my cry like a pathetic bitch. Maybe they were 2real4me
are you a grill?

Naruto, I think during the Sasuke retrieval arc when Choji et al "die"
Welcome to the NHK
Naruto?
That part with Haku and Zabuza...
Probably Sailor Moon science that was the first anime ever for me. DBZ aired right after and that probably made me cry a couple times too. I've always been kind of a bitch with regards to crying over my emotions.
>be 10
>play Sword of the Berserk on my new Dreamcast
>get to the ending
Dont know why, but Byousoku 5 Centimeter fucked me up badly.
Isn't there a movie or something coming out that's completely about koro's past?
Anohana royally fucked me up man
Is this Technolyze?
Naruto
One Piece
SnK
Tokyo Ghoul
Re:Zero
I am pretty strong, no piece of media made me cry, only get really sad for a while but always no tears.
Then i started watching mushishi and every single episode gave me shivers and feels.
Then i got to Mushishi Zoku Shou.
The episode is the 15th, called Lingering Crimson.
That is the first and only piece of media to have made me cry.
Mushishi is such a beautiful show
>valvrave
lying is bad
Code Geass when Lelouch makes Shirley forget about him.
This
Yes, it is.
Oh please, that wasn't half as bad as "I command you to live!"
Thanks, now I have to see it
Logth ;_;
>dont like what i dont like
Wha? How it didn't make you cry?
It was so bad that it made me cry with every episode
