Is this what you wanted, user?

Salty vegetables?

tomatoes are fruits

too soon

...

>3 for 100yen

Where can I get these.

Fruit and vegetable are just commercial terms so they're just whatever people want them to be. At my college tomatoes are studied by the vegetable faculty because it has the same cultivation technology as other vegetables.

fug I was too late

...

>tomatoes
>vegetables

...

...

Vegetable is just a culinary term. They're all fruits. Also, walnuts are the best fruits.

>Vegetables
>Tomato
But that's wrong user

Leaf and root foods such as salads, potatoes carrots and such aren't fruits.

Also plants where you eat the flowers, like broccoli and cauliflower

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nix_v._Hedden

Okay, but then those are just roots, leaves, and flowers.

...

They're vegetables though.

See, this right here is a massive fruit.

YASAI

...

all plants are just a conglomeration of cells so everything is a vegetable.

>Anime set in 1400
>they eat tomatoes

Jesus christ

I came here expecting that CGI cabbage

That's not really how it works, vegetable is a commercial term not a botanical term and fruit can be used in both commercial and botanical context.

Obligatory

Perfect Cabbage

>I'm one of the tomatoes

What did he mean by this?

so?

>I'm one with the tomatoes
What did he mean by this?

>posts a fruit

I want to lick her appai

Is this the official Gainax thread?

Europe didn't get tomatoes until the 16th century.

Yeah when Thomas de la Tomato finally invented the vegetable, right?

...

It's native to the americas, not even the user that pointed the 1400s thing out, but if it's set in that era and in Europe it would be an inaccuracy albeit a small one.

No you fucking retard when tomatoes were discovered in the New World

>nobody is posting Nourin screenshots

An user posted one. Unless that was you.

picked up

I wondered what exactly attracted you after you looked up the title

>Kousaku Hata loves idols to the point of obsession. He enjoys their joyful performances and positive songs, which help to make his countryside life a little more exciting. His favorite idol is the beautiful Yuka Kusakabe, who enjoys the admiration of countless fans.

>However, at what seems to be the peak of her career, Yuka suddenly retires from the entertainment industry, leaving fans in utter shock, particularly Hata. He is devastated to the point where the absence of Yuka in his life changes everything in his daily routine. He becomes depressed, isolates himself from his friends, and neglects almost all of his school activities. However, after being dragged to class by his friends, he is met with nothing short of a miracle—his beloved idol Yuka has transferred into his class, introducing herself as Ringo Kinoshita.

>In Nourin, Hata’s wildest fantasy has just come true, and he is determined to use this once in a lifetime opportunity to get close to his favorite idol, and to find out what in the world made such a glamorous girl move to the countryside.

The MAL synopsis is so misleading, it doesn't even mention vegetables.

>MAL synopsis
Is that what you're posting? I didn't read any of that. I just read user in the vegatable screenshot thread mention offhand that there should be more screenshots from this one series with vegetables and decided to download it because I'll probably enjoy it. I'm still not reading that, way too long. Maybe give me a tl:dr?

tl;dr Watch it for Becky sensei

Naked girl in front of the mirror with the milk cnesors, yeah? I remember those milk bottles looking very farm like. Add the vegetables into the mix and I know I'm in for a good time really. My instincts on these matters rarely lead me astray.

I need a webm of this with the cut of her ass dubbed over with the sound of a truck backing up

I really felt like this series took a big hit in season 2, both quality and plotwise

that's what happens when you rush at least 2 seasons worth of ideas into 12 episodes due to you knowing you wont get a season 3.

Is this the new Gainax show?

what's the deal with the last episode? Was everyone just a part of angel's self-insert story that went wrong?

>(1) (botany) The seed-bearing structure in angiosperms formed from the ovary after flowering.

>angiosperms
>formed from ovary
>after flowering

Woah, does that sound LEWD.

Also, "seed-bearing".

And was a reply to .

It's fine. Stop being a whiny bitch and appreciate Apologine. That is a fine ass track, and the context of the scene it appears in is neat.

Seriously, that is probably one of the best pieces of music in the entire show, and that scene is one of the best scenes.

(I won't call either THE best, but they are way up there.)

No, I actually meant the other way around.

(You) was a reply to .

>(You)
Goddamn it. You know what I mean.

I came here for this.

>eating a strawberry
>turns out it's not a fruit, and not a berry
>rather, each individual tiny seed is its own fruit
See, this is why science fails.

From what I gathered, Angel essentially rebooted the series but this time she made R. Dorothy into a human and made herself friends with Dorothy instead of being rivals. Now how and why the whole world is just a stage show that I don't know

Nigger what the fuck are you talking about?

He gets better in ZZ

If only tomato plants could ahegao.

What happened to this glorious subber

>made Dorothy into a human and made herself friends with Dorothy

thats cute as hell. i took the stage show motif to mean that they were all just dummy bodies that were playing out the lives of people that existed before the event, and this process may have occurred once before. big venus and the VR bullshit at the end kind of throws a wrench into things though.

Also, is it even necessary to use spoilers?

...

You have to post the rest of Hitotsu Ni.

All fruits are vegetables.

Close enough?

Though technically a fruit, for culinary purposes, the tomato has always been considered a vegetable.

Also it's a distant cousin of the potato, both being a variant of the nightshade plant family.

>nightshade
Edgy.

I bet the Night Shade is Excstacy Darx' favourite plant family.

No, they're just similar enough.

It's the reason why it was first thought they might be poisonous when first discovered by Europeans.

>Well, it's this big berry or fruit thing, and it grows on what appears to be some sort of nightshade (the plant infamous for it's deadly poison), should I put it in my mouth?

Why is the fish blushing?

"New world", right, when John Sakamoto discovered a parallel portal to ANOTHER Earth and brought tomatoes from there, okay.

Retard

>filename
That was something about a technicality and the lunch of a government employee, but I can't recall the full details.

It was dumb, but it's not as dumb as Sup Forums would suggest.

>"New world", right, when John Sakamoto discovered a parallel portal to ANOTHER Earth and brought tomatoes from there, okay.

...

I thought it was just a myth through and through.
