Texan here, no. Texas was at one time in say the 80s, but that time has completely passed. I live in Houston which is immigrant central, not that I hate immigrants but the culture of Texas has been slowly pushed out and replaced. I guess I can buy the whole Mexican culture being close to Texan culture thing with the similarities, but even then most have a distinct cultural difference than Texans. They're too emotional, too insular. The niggers that migrated here continue to do so, there isn't anything Texan about them, in fact the Mexicans here are more Texan than they'll ever be.
