Sure, he coined a lot of good phrases for use in political debate, and I particularly like the emphasis he placed on clarity in writing in his essay, "Politics and the English Language". He really understood how essential language is to human freedom and understanding.
But his actual political views seem to be pretty milquetoast and Boomerish. If he were alive today, would he be that distinguishable in his thoughts from your standard Fabian socialist government school teacher or public servant? Probably not.
The Spanish Civil War redpilled him on how shitty Communism really was.

Not really. He was an anarchist, socialist hack who had no problem with mass murder of the Spanish middle class in the civil war in name of the revolution.
