A boy falls in love with a girl.
Unable to confess, he is gifted with by a deus ex machina with the girl’s phone number. Never minding the strange area code, he immediately calls her, and is overjoyed to find out that she has a crush on him as well.
But, the next day, when he recounts the previous day’s confessions to the girl, she only looks at him with a perplexed expression. After some investigation, he finds out that the girl he called is not the same girl he fell in love with. In fact, she doesn’t exist in this universe at all. She is the girl’s alternate universe counterpart, who has fallen in love with the MC’s own AU self, who too is blissfully unaware of her crush.
Hijinks ensue as the two strike up a deal to give each other their darkest, most private secrets in order to equip the other with the weapons they need to conquer the heart of their other selves. While the two chase their respective loved ones, DRAMA ensues as they begin to fall in love with each other instead and question the NATURE of LOVE.

Isekai rom/com anime, but the MC is a Hero from a fantasy world who has been reincarnated into modern day Japan as a cute Christmas Cake office lady.

Hijinks ensue as he deals with becoming a woman, working in an office, and being hit on by various men at the office but never finding true love.

The Hero's most trusted companion from the fantasy world somehow makes his way to modern day Japan in search of the Hero and indeed finds him, but because MC has become a cute Christmas Cake office lady the MC's companion doesn't realise that it's him.

The MC who has been feeling rather lonely and dejected pretends to be someone who has seen the Hero and knows of his whereabouts so that the companion remains with him. They keep in contact and when MC has time off, the MC and companion go on cute dates under the premise of exploring Japan to look for the Hero.

Despite MC being a man originally, he begins to fall for his companion who has come to look for him, questioning the NATURE of LOVE, but is somewhat ashamed of himself and afraid of his companion's reaction if he were to find out the truth.

How long can the MC keep the fine balance and fun relationship that they have going?

At the end of the first cour they go to a festival together and MC confesses, but the companion doesn't hear what MC said because of fireworks.

Posted this before but anyway!

It's a SoL about Christmas Cakes working as teachers.

One is full of love but easily distracted by her first grader students, while being pampered by the principal who is actually her dad. She can't get a husband because men see her as too childish.

A second one is strict and intimidating with her 5th graders, as they see her as an ice queen, but when she's with her friends she likes cute and sweet stuff, and wonders why her students are so scared of her when she's trying her hardest to be the best teacher. Men don't want her precisely because of how scary she might be without realizing it.

A third one is this genki tomboy who accidentally bullies her 4th grader students and make them work extra hard. She believes herself to be the best teacher and is proud how well her students are doing, even though they are often exhausted at the end of the schoolday. Men see her as not very femenine.

The fourth one is a completely lovely lady whose aura fills the sixth graders hearts with the sensation of being in love for the first time. She's nice, calm and understanding, everyone's favorite. The problem is that she's really timid when it comes to other people who aren't children or her friends that she's incapable of doing anything without the help of someone else. But her timid behavior comes off, always, as incredibly rude by accident, making everyone's impressions of her as being snobby and a total asshole outside of class.

The day the two of them decide to confess to each other, they mysteriously find each other's cell phone numbers saved into their phone's contacts list. After some hesitation, a mutual confession occurs after school through phone. Tears of happiness are shed, vows are sworn, and the two decide to meet at the front gates the next day.

But, the next day, MC is rejected by the feMC, who claims she never talked to him before. Strangely enough, the feMC is shown to be going through the same thing, being rejected by MC who treats her like a stranger.

MC and feMC actually inhabit two different universes, and their cell phones are the mediums that connect them. After eventually reaching this conclusion, the two of them make a promise. They will tell each their likes and hates, their daily schedule, everything about themselves, even their deepest secrets, to help each other in their crusade for love. The name of the anime will be Keit-ai!/Cel-love!, in classical punny tradition.

How about a boy who is in love with a girl from his school.

Until crazy survivalist and entrepreneur brings back the hamburger, now with rat meat!
The rarest of all meals, the hamburger is now considered a delicacy and the height of cuisine, only eaten in high-class restaurants and prepared by expert chefs with exact measurements for every ingredient and spice. French fries and ketchup are considered a humorous call-back to olden times, but the hamburgers are serious business.
The story, consisting of 14 episodes, describes the downfall of the meat-industry and the rise of the Rat Burgers in the form of a documentary in the first episode, culminating in the MC deciding he wants to become the best Rat Burger Chef in the world. The following episodes show his entry into the cold and cruel world of competitive cooking, along with occasional glimpses of how the masses are so unsatisfied with their diets of fish and veggies that they pay more money for Rat Burgers than they can actually afford, and how the skimpily glad waitresses at these restaurants are quite often the daughters of families that have been ruined by their lust for meat. Wealthy gourmands can even pay for the privilege of choosing the girl whose milk they want the cheese in their burger to be made out of. Cows are gone, remember?
The hero doesn't blow the cover on anything, nor does he change the world. He simply becomes stressed, angry, jaded, bitter, cynical, and in the final episode attaches milk-pumps to the breasts of his girl-friend who cries and begs him to let her go.

A 20 year old full time worker once orphan finds his little sister is suffering from severe illness. The only cure unfortunately is an expensive surgery which he can nowhere near afford.

Meanwhile, a death race sponsored by thousands of organisations is taking place across the country called the ABC. Three sets of qualified racers must travel certain distances and take the lead to win cash prizes. All three sets of contestants take off at the same line.

New racers must start in the C league and must come first in the 200km race to continue racing alongside the B members. B members (racers who have won in C league) must finish first in the 500km race to qualify for the A league, but racers 1st-3rd receive cash prizes. A league members 1st-3rd also win enormous cash prizes in the 1000km race.

League C will be similar to Mad Max type vehicles and B league will take inspiration from shows like Speed Racer.

Cue back to our main character who has been plagued with bad luck his entire life. On his way home he is stopped by a Gypsy who tells him great luck will come to him on an upcoming date for exactly 72 hours. Thinking nothing of it, he comes home and finds an advertisement in the paper coincidentally matching the ABC Race. He entertains the thought of racing only to realise even the largest cash prize wouldn’t cover the hospital fees. He then finds the odds of a C league member winning the A league and finds the betting prize to be beyond his wildest dreams and plenty to give his sister the treatment she desperately needs.

Despite never racing a day in his life he decides to take an all or nothing gamble to save his little sister. He sneaks his car into his industrial factory workplace at night and welds some shoddy reinforcements and signs up for the upcoming race, betting his entire savings on himself winning the tournament. Armed with only his courage, luck, cassette tape full of Eurobeat and timely advice of a homeless man he paid $8 to be his crew manager.

A policeman inspector gets killed in the line of duty and gets reincarnated in a fantasy world.

Unfortunately, he has no cheats or top tier magic and cannot be bothered to introduce modern science to a world that literally uses magic to wipe their asses. However, he does have some ability as a police detective, and he uses it to solve crimes.

After working as a guard in a podunk town for a while (where the Mayor relied on him to help resolve disputes), he decided to see the world by signing up to guard a merchant caravan. He soon gained the favor of the merchant for his experience in detecting frauds and cheats.

By luck or ill fortune, while the caravan was stopping at the Elven capital, an elven noble was murdered, and most of the non-elven visitors were detained. While in detention, the MC was immediately pinpointed as a reincarnated person by elven magic, and also possessing the ability to solve this mystery.

For the elves, there had been almost no crime and no unsolved ones, because of their mastery of magic to conjure rather omniscient spirits had allowed them to always ascertain the truth. However, in this case, no spirit has appeared, apparently refusing to speak of the matter. This indicates the murderer is from the royal elven familiy, who possess the ability to command spirits.

The MC's investigation is sponsored by the father of the murdered noble (who is determined to expose the murderer, even if he is the king himself), and is provided with a partner, a tsundere elf (what else could it be? [Well, maybe a wand of magic missiles with a pistol grip]).

With her help, he devises CSI level investigation techniques using her magic; not to mention depending on her for protection from the conspirators of the murderer that show up to stop the investigation.

TL;DR, a film noir version of fantasy isekai.

>MC and PC Cop will eventually gather enough evidence to prove innocence, situation is safe for him to return to his own time

>After much discussion, his request is approved and he is told he will be contacted at a later time when needed, but for now he's to keep his head down and not fuck with time

The series would focus heavily on noir elements, and I figured changing the time and setting around would keep things from getting boring visually. I think you could also throw in some psychological stuff too, because I imagine time travelling like they are would not be kind on your mental state.

This idea came to me after having the thought that if time travel did exist, some kind of organisation would have to exist to stop the Jews from killing Hilter and putting us all on the Red Alert timeline

Less of an anime plot, this is more of a backstory for the protagonist, who I’ll be referring to as “ice mage” from here on.

The MC was a genius prodigy who could use all magical elements in his youth with voiceless incantations. He came from a wealthy and renowned noble family who was blessed with a long line of talented magicians but the ice mage OC was especially gifted. Mages in this universe are rare, about 1/10 of the population, and so many mages have been able to gain political power like nobility and dukedom due to their magical influence. As a noble he was given into marriage with a noble girl and the both were in love with each other and happy to start their new life together.

During their honeymoon, his wife is attacked by a summoned spirit of earth, summoned by an assassin who was targeting her for reasons. Being a noble, maybe she was the daughter of an influential man who had a lot of political enemies or something. It attacked his wife when he wasn't with her and he came rushing to her aid. He started fighting it off when the monster unleashed a huge attack causing an earthquake. The summoned spirit of earth used an attack like an earthquake, and opened up the earth, where the mana pool could be seen deep down below. In this universe, all mana comes from the planet and the mana pool is where mana is kept in storage until used by the planet.

The wife fell in deep into the valley and so the ice mage flew down looking for her. But soon, he was unable to fly because of the mana poisoning was ruining his body's magic gates. In this universe, magic gates allow a person to use magic. He continued to search and search, threading to the waist-high concentration of mana. His body was being destroyed from the inside by the massive amounts of mana and causing mana poisoning, a type of condition that slowly damages a person's magic magic system, or more specifically, their gates.

By the time he found her, he had already taken in twice as much mana needed to kill a man. Backtracking through the mana pool, he obtained three times the lethal dose of mana and eventually collapsed, due to the poisoning taking a massive toll on his mental and physical health and blacked out.

When he came to, he was in a local clinic. He realized he had lost his wife. He was only in the mana pool for a few hours but it was a miracle that he was even alive. There’s no way anyone could survive in such an environment for 3 days; his wife was lost. According to the doctor: his body was magically burned on the inside, destroying all of his magic gates except for his ice gate. Not having much of a will left, he leaves town. What now? He travels as if his mind was broken. Nothing matters, nothing. It's all worthless. He travels with a blurry mind for days and days. When all of a sudden, he hears a certain scream: the voice of his wife? The young man goes rushing to a certain brown girl's aid...

This is where the series would actually start, with the protagonist (mistaking someone else’s voice for his wife’s and) trying to rescue a brown girl, but not being of any use and being rescued by her instead. She’s not a human and not as young or as weak as she seems and is the protagonist’s party member for the remainder of the series. Due to the mana poisoning, the protagonist’s physical abilities were cut roughly in half while his magical abilities like his magic power and mana reserve is reduced by 90%. Due to the damage done to his magical gates, the protagonist can no longer use any other magic besides ice spells. His ice magic gate received so much damage from the mana poisoning that he lost his ability to use voiceless incantations and cannot even launch the few magic attacks he can cast, a handicap that he’ll struggle with throughout his entire journey. This backstory wouldn’t be revealed until near the end of the series.

A two cour anime, set in a low-fantasy version of post-WW1 Europe. Following an apocalyptic conflict, a nation devolves into civil war as the pople takes arms against the aristocratic clique that send the nation to war and defeat.
MC is a young officer who defects and joins the rebellion. There, he meets bros, gets a harem of cute grills, and develops a father-son relation with the leader of the rebels. When his surrogate dad gets assassinated, he succeeds him at the head of the rebellion. Scarred by this death and the horrors of war, pressured from all isdes, he takes more and more radical decisions, estranging his friends and love interests while getting closer to his goal.

When he finally takes over the nation, he is an old, broken soul in a young man's body, with only a few friends and the girl who won the MCbowl around him. All the others died, defected, or were shot. As the season ends, peace has come back to the nation, but only under the iron grip of a new dictatorial regime.

A boy falls in love with a girl. Being that our boy is part of his college's kendo club and one of the top students, he's got a chance.

Before he confesses his feelings, however, he's sucked back in time into the Sengoku era with absolutely no way to get back.

Our MC shall fight, not only for his warlord, but also for his love's heart. Will he succeed and become one of the greatest generals Japan has known? Or will he forever be known as a traitor, disloyal to his shogun, and to his country?

A gamer falls in love with EVO.

Unable to confess, he is gifted by a deus ex machina with the top seed ranking.

A soldier wakes up from a dream where his squad got killed off because of a setup by his CO. He soon finds himself living through that dream and wakes up again a second time. The man is looping back in time to the last time he woke up each time he dies so he makes use of this to get to the bottom of things and save everyone. Things are tricky though as each time he wakes up something, minor or major, is always different than how he remembers it and that if he dies too close to when he last woke he'll loop back to the time before that. In the end he pulls it off, saves his squad as well as the locals they were working with. He goes home a decorated war hero in time and gets on with his life. This is where the story really starts.

The man makes use of the time loops to get a good life for himself and eventually his family. Things however go very wrong when one day he just wakes up to find his daughter doesn't exist anymore and that it was the result of that arbitrary change that always come with each loop. On top of that, his life history had gradually changed so much that he has no idea who he's supposed to be the more he loops. Deciding all he needs is his daughter, he goes on a looping spree to find a life where she's back safe and sound as he loses touch with everything else in his life.

It ends with him old and feeble in a hospital bed with his family popping in just before he dies of old age, over and over again.

A harem show where MC-kun is a university student that is a part time tutor at a cram school for elementary schoolers and his entire harem are lolis. Maybe throw in childhood friend chan who goes to the same university to appease people that don't like lolis for some reason.
