Second season will be much more action oriented and shouldn't have the slow pacing issues of the original, so unless Bones goes full QUALITY it'll probably do about the same.
But with what was initially shown in may have pacing issues in that they try to cover too much in one season.

I think this was a bad sales strategy. I'm pretty sure if the volumes were like usual (2 episodes per volume) it would've sold around the same but there would been 6 volumes and not only three.
And the money would been the same too, people claiming that kabaneri boxes are expensive and cost twice conveniently forget that selling 10k volumes at 15k yen each is the same as selling 20k volumes at 7.5k yen. That's why I'm saying this is a bad strategy. People is more willing to spend 7.5k yen every month for the next six months than spending 15k yen every time for the months. The price being the double had a negative impact psychologically.

Not really. The artwork in Osomatsu-san is pretty simple most of the time but that's not my point. Bones or should I say, Tachikawa is focusing more in the visuals and making it more action oriented, which by the way isn't even the main appeal of ONE's work, instead of focusing on the gags and timing them properly. Let's be honest, Osomatsu-san didn't really have amazing production values but it excelled in the comedic aspects a lot thanks to Fujita who knew how to make the gags work.
