In the JoJoverse, when the universe ends it then restarts in an endless cycle and things play out again as according to fate, only some small changes occur. By gaining the power o accelerate yime itself to the end point of the universe Pucci could influence the changes that happen in the new one and the change he made was that the Joestars were replaced with lookalikes with different fates so they could no longer interfere. All he had to do in the new universe was slow time back to normal in time for Cape Canaveral in that universe ie when he activated MiH in the old universe, and then his changes would become permanent. Emporio put a stop to this and the universe was in a state of paradox and reset itself but with more changes and dumped Emporio into it with his old memories because he was inside his Stand when the final reset happened. In this universe, everyone Pucci killed (probably himself too) was replaced with a copy with the same personality and soul but different memories and in this universe they lived normal lives. Everything up to Part 5 happened exactly the same only whoever Pucci was replaced with either never met DIO or never befriended him so none of Part 6 happened. Emporio is the only one left who remembers the old universe and who knows about the sacrifices that Jolyne and co made to create a world where they could live freely, even if the them that exist there will never know about it. That was the end of the series until SBR, which is in a completely different universe unrelated to any of the ones in 6.

He came up with his GRAVITY and HEAVEN shit while in his coffin but the actual mechanics behind creating the Green Baby and how he learnt to do it is never elaborated on. Probably would have been if Araki hadn't had to cram the entirety of his MiH shenanigans into 1 volume to wrap it up, those last 10 chapters STILL feel rushed even if it was pared back as fuck.
His fights were fucking awesome. The train fight cemented him and Mista as my favourite side characters in JoJo.
Apparently the words are things that Dio's mother said to him as a baby to help him sleep, according to Araki. They don't have any real deeper meaning other than being something primally recognizable to him, so he'd trust anyone who spoke them.
The Green Baby seemed to have Dio's cells and at least some of his personality in it which it got from his bone, but how he knew all of that is unknown.
I just headcanon it as he saw it in a vision when he was pierced by the Beetle Arrow. The only characters we see who got their Stands directly from the Beetle Arrow (the Joestar's got them through inheritance and everyone else only let their Stands be possessed by Requiem) were DIO and Pucci and they both had seemingly spiritual moments when they were pierced, though to be fair to Pucci his sister had just killed herself and it was entirely his fault so anything to shift the blame would have felt wonderful to him.

I loved the duality of the guy, it was great. Very compassionate, gentle, and popular with the civilians, but also very intimidating, relentless and merciless. And his ability being as simple but versatile and great as it was really helped too.
I'm really looking forward to VA being properly translated, the Cicciolata and Secco fight and the Colosseum antics were some particularly great Buccellati sequences which were robbed of a lot of impact by lifeless dialog.
I know that Over Heaven was written by that guy, but I thought I read somewhere that Araki said that the words came from Dio's mother. Might well be wrong, though.

It's pretty good, only thing I can really fault is Yo-Yo ma since it really isn't that bad and I think people just jump on it unfairly but to each their own.
The recent Rohan episodes in the anime really made me realize how much effort Araki puts into this series, and how hard it is to write a good story. He's really improved over the years and now I appreciate the series much more.
