Has there ever been an anime where the main heroine doesn't like MC because he's nice/saved her life, but purely because she finds him hot?
Has there ever been an anime where the main heroine doesn't like MC because he's nice/saved her life...
naruto
Literally every series ever
If the savior/nice MC was ugly, things would be completely different
Wrong.
Again wrong, most series have the mc look okay or even be good looking but the girls never actually care about that shit and purely in it for him being some nice ass saviour.
saucegay is pretty much the main character
Accel World's blob-kun says hi
The protagonist's looks probably always has something to do with it but it's just not something that the heroine admits to herself or to others.
Also, if the love is only based on looks and nothing else then that is a sign that the heroine doesn't regard love seriously and especially In this medium, it's an unlikeable trait.
pls she finds that fatty hot
KYH is a chubby chaser tho, doesn't count
What if girls finds his * hot? Does that count?
you can't call him ugly if he is bearable to look at.
Everything except shonenshit/haremshit i.e. shit for teengers
Get better taste OP
There's that little slutty seductress in Hatsukoi Monster who only likes the shota for his hot body.
you have it all wrong girls are attracted to power and masculinity not looks. having muscles can trick a girl's brain to think you're manly but if she sees you act like a wimp it dries her vagina up
trust me i research girls
No because that doesn't appeal to the Japanese.
Japan is mostly herbivore skin over bone males and can't relate to anything that would even be classified as a 10-8% Bodyfat welterweight which I'm going to assume OP's image is
I already see chad getting all the girls irl, why would i want to see it in my escapism hobby too?
Because it would be different than seeing the same thing for 1000 times?
I never understood why it is this way, are Japs just really different or do anime creators never interact with women?
Because it's 2D so it's okay and you can self insert
you're shitting me
I'm pretty sure at some point she tells him not to lose weight, because if he was a regular weight, there'd be a chance she'd have to compete for his attention.
different people have different fetishes, yes, it's weird, I know
I would honestly like a semi-harem semi-battle manga about some chubby kid who was picked on in school and then his dad bought him some weights and he becomes a body builder/strongman/boxer/Strong Style Wrestler
>shit that barely ever happens unless you have money, power or bold confidence
Just admit it was all to make fat otaku's feel like they have chance with hot girls.
>but if she sees you act like a wimp
How do I learn to be permanently alpha then guys?
>why does this blatantly idealistic escapist fiction differ from my sour neckbeard worldview???
maybe because they want it to be commercially successful
k?
still doesn't change the fact she likes him because he's fat in the series
I'm sure she does.
So i'm a neckbeard then? Wouldn't I also be a neckbeard if i expect girls to be pure angels who will love me if i treat them nice?
>appearance has some influence
This true for literally every creature with sight.
>especially in this medium
Have you ever seen America? Objectification and physical standards are running rampant in all media here.
eat testosterone pills lol
just give it up being alpha is too much work just let yourself slide into a bubble solitude and sleep peacefully forever
Death Note
not hot, but momokuri. All the girls lust after the guy and he just innocently reacts.
>Have you ever seen America? Objectification and physical standards are running rampant in all media here.
That's why I said that girls falling in love just because of attraction is especially bad in anime, because of the "girls must be pure or we are gonna get railed by mad otaku" thing. lusting after someone is not pure.
you sound more like a tumblrina
you're not going to cry about damsels in distress next are you
Because anime isn't made just for you buddy.
Women like men whom they can depend on. This does not really apply to independent women though.
No one likes ugly broke fucks
If you're broke you're not dependable at all.
...
Which one's blob-kun?
>You wouldn't cuck your best friend and king
Does that couple in OPs pic get somewhere?
I don't quite feel like watching or reading the series if it's only that scene between them.
Only with an ultra reductionist artstyle
Nothing dries up a puss like cowardice or weakness
And yet we all have things we're afraid of and flaws in our character. I guess the only way to get girls is be an ubermensch all of the time.
Yes, stoicism is incredibly important. You have to basically hide your humanity at all times if you want any luck.
For example losing a fight, no matter what it's about, will always have your gf become more attracted to the person who won than she is to you.
How does that translate to main characters in anime? Should we look up to Gary Stus and laud them as superior or should we laud the guys that don't get the girl because they're more realistic?
You can get girls without being perfect but only because you live in a society where you're not constantly forced into situations that test your characters where you might fail and lose status with girls. If you're a normal guy you'll at least have to pretend to be strong to increase your perceived value. If you're just being yourself you're not going to get very far unless your "self" is actually manly.
All men aspire to be ubermensch
The strongest, smartest, fastest, etc.
It's in our nature
Why do you think 99% of male fantasies are about being some super competent badass or a weakling/idiot who's secretly strong/genius?
The former, because you want to be a guy like that. The latter is really just giving up.
I'd forgotten but that's true. Misa did fall instantly for Light's looks.
Sakamoto
when the next page it shows this is just a dream and doesn't happen I dropped the manga
>I guess the only way to get girls is be an ubermensch all of the time.
Not really. What you need is to act confident in yourself and interests without being cringy or creepy about it.
How is he wrong?
