Does your country generally perceive races differently than you do personally?

>hispanic countries are in the western hemisphere.
>have derivative cultural elements of spain, a western country.
> speak a western language

yeah not western at all.

I'm asking because I'm assuming the more distant your ethnicity is to the person you're looking at, the more they look the same to everyone elses vs
Europeans saying Italians arent white and etc.

Does anyone else hold different views on races and such than most of their people around them?

>>hispanic countries are in the western hemisphere.
this isnt where the word western comes from
>>have derivative cultural elements of spain, a western country.
yes, elements, but not 100% western
>> speak a western language
an Asian american born in USA and only speaking english isnt automatically western

Get out

what language are you learning hijo?

>thinks 3rd world spanish speaking spics are western
stupid spic. at least the op is aware you aren't western

Korean

Sorry, I mean "Coreano"

idk, idc. You still have to go back.

This is the only word I dont know yet
I have 4 months yet, I can understand and read a lot better than type or speak myself

you are not white, but being an Amerilard you are western.
You didn't think you were eastern, didn't you?

동안 is one way to say during (that kind of meaning)
I guess when i think about it i cant think of an exact word but i undwrstand the meaning. Also going to korea will skyrocket your skill. I lived in seoul for 2 months as a temp foreign exchange student at korea university and it was the best time of my life

Also to add use naver translate for anything korean

...

Im considering that next semester or this coming summer

it looks like most koreans know some English and that a lot of things are translated so it shouldnt be that bad right?

I find it hard to consider south america as western, it surely is partially but it cant be under the same label as Europeans

some countries seemed to be more "white" and western before though

Yes even though im near fluent in korean people would always open with english until i kept just speaking korean. Also english is everywhere in seoul especially in itaewon.

makes me wonder whats the difference between white and western

The concept of western and eastern was born with the spit of the Roman empire in western and eastern empire.
Since then, the word assumed slightly different meanings (i.e. Christian west vs muslim east).
The most recent is that Western countries opposed the Soviet Union during the cold war.
