The huge pile of coke and tequila in the studio probably helped.

Because you're mexican/latino.
All dubs are bad.

OCHOMIL!!!!!!

¡Delicioso! Y muy barato...

Cierto

Pol please derail this thread

jajawjajajajajajajajajajajaja

They're not better for me at least, and I'm a latino.

When will moot ban all spics?
They're no better than australians.

No censorship and weird name changes for the most part. And on your pic related, no change on the soundtrack.

A mi me gusta el doblaje español.

ONDA VITAL!

Because you do not understand the language, making it harder to read the emotions of the actors, so your mind fills int eh blanks. This is also why some people think all subs are better than dubs, these are the same people that have difficulty hearing the emotions in the seiyuus so their mind fills in the blank.

>Pic unrelated

Because 90 percent of people in the English dubbing industry nowadays are kids pulled out of anime conventions or internet fandubs.

>Because you do not understand the language
I'm posting here because I perfectly understand English you dumb burger.

No, it's because the souls of Anglos are weighed down by gravity.

Also, everything is more intense in Spanish--perfect for anime in general.

Spanish is a language that is naturally spoken quickly, it doesn't have a focus on enunciation and pauses that can make an English voice trying to read frantic Japanese dialogue sound awkward
That said as someone who speaks Spanish, the average quality of a dub is about the same as English, maybe a little less when you consider the lack of financial interest in making a good dub in Spanish

Yeah but these dubs are much better

they aren't
chicano here

Because they have to dub most of the movies and and tv shows they air there, and their voice actors are much more experienced and better than the ones in the US.

Oh and in the US, the actual good voice actors work in the video game industry, and they're too expensive to hire them for anime.

I'm not a Mexican though, but I'm pretty sure dubbing is better in every non-english speaking country.

LOS CABALLEROS DEL ZODIAC

Saint Seiya, jovenes guerreros,
Saint Seiya, siempre lucharan;
Saint Seiya, unidos por su fuerza,
Saint Seiya y Pegasus...
¡Hasta el final!

the 90's-2000 one...the actual one sucks ass. thanks, cartoon network!

Can you actually understand the language?

I usually find most dubs bad as the acting quality is not the best and if you are a native speaker of the language it comes off as very fake, which can be distracting.

Subs are fine because I don't understand the language being spoken and it often just turns into background noise, not distracting at all.

Ahora vas a conocer a Dios

Classic 80-90 dubs animes were god tier because actually had some real actors doing the voices, nowadays Latin dubs are mostly shit due to low budgets and bad actors, only the sacred cow called Dragon Ball will keep untouched from both.

On the other hand, gringos dubs are becoming better, from pure shit to some decent acting, like KLK, just heard the Burger dub days ago and I was surprised It wasn't shit, looks like they actually hired professional actors for the first time ever

>looks like they actually hired professional actors for the first time ever
A lot of dubbing places actually stopped doing that around 8 years ago. I know Ryuko's English VA is some kid off an amateur voice acting forum.

Implying that this truth, she did a good job from the clips I heard. Still can't believe Burgenland has shitty VA's and shit adaptations like that edgy Vegeta

Because spanish, in particular the mexican/latin american variant has a lot more freedom with the intonation. You can't put emotions other than anger in english dubs.

Most mexicans don't have jobs, so even something as pitiable as voicing over somebody else's work gets a lot of applicant, so they can choose the best person for the job.

English VAs have better things to do, and so you're more likely to be scraping the barrel when dubbing in English.

>so you're more likely to be scraping the barrel when dubbing in English.
One of the people largely responsible for casting a lot of the inexperienced kids nowadays said they would stop dubbing entirely if piracy continues. The decreasing quality of English dubs is a cost-cutting measure and things are going to keep getting worse.

Besides, there's a reason why you don't see people like Yuri Lowenthal in anime all that much anymore.

Portuguese from Brazil is really slow compared to Castellano and it still delivers a kick-ass translation, you viadão. Latino and Nip VAs put a lot of emotion while dubbing as opposed of North Americans.

They use emotion. English dubs lack it.

Because you are a faggot.

People here are saying that English dubs lack emotion, but from what little I've seen of the American DBZ dub, it has the opposite problem. Everyone overacts and talks in a really unnatural way for some reason.

Because they lack emotion and have to force themselves apparently

YO VIVIRÉ LO MAS HERMOSO DE ESTE MUNDO
ALCANZARÉ LA VELOCIDAD
SIEMPRE QUE ESTÉS JUNTO A MI
Is there any non-mexican dub that's better than the chilean dub of Taiho Sichauzo/Están Arrestados?

spic dubs being good is just a meme
there are some really piss poor translation mistakes in saint seiya but most spics won't tell you this

If you didn't grow up watching Dragon Ball Z in Mexican, you should just KILL YOURSELF>

Fucking why

Getter Robo Armageddon in Italian is fucking sick.

I'll translate them for you for 50$

Es la verdad

>

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

>decided to watch english dub anime to see how shitty it is
>little girl appears
>"hey big bro" in the most adult woman voice possible
>promise to never watch another dub shit

why are muricans/english speaker so incompetent when dub is involved?

so good

bro inuyasha final hen started the dub last month youtube.com/watch?v=zmIq7P0DvwI

Then piracy is saving anime

>nunca van a hacer un dub de steins;gate en español en tu vida

English dubbing sounds so mono tone most of the time, and when they try to show emotion it feels so forced and unnatural, most romantic languages like French/Spanish/Italian sounds naturally expressive thus why even a normal arguement sounds like marriage ending fight.

>y los actores originales estan dentro tambien.

si tan solo las compañias de mexico tuviesen el valor para dar oportunidad a los animes de ahora...

ALL SPICS MUST BE GASSED TO DEATH!!!!!

the latino dub for eva is fucking brilliant. burgers will deny this

>>>>>>youtube.com/watch?v=tUc7xy8fAsk
Igual esta el hecho de que sea español ONDA VITAL AGALLAS LAS SUPERNENAS, pero uno ya piensa que harian un dub por lo menos como el de madoka

he meant the japanese language you stupid fuck

For the same reasons you think the jap ones are better. You don't speak the language so any performance seems powerful to you. You don't speak the language so you can't detect the verbal intricacies that would let you know a good performance from a terrible one. Sabat is best Vegeta.

youtube.com/watch?v=mIhJEYmxCd4

Jap VA are all trained so you always get a good performance and spanish dub has emotions while english dub is filled with illiterate bottom feeders who can't even read the atmosphere of the scenes.

Not in the slightest. I'd rather dubs die out entirely than have consistently sub-par talent.

B-but my shitty fandub on YouTube is training, right?

This is pretty much it. You hear Mario Castañeda (Goku's voice) fucking everywhere in movies, western tv series and anime dubs.

Of course spanish VAs get good if they work in multiple media.

This makes sense

>inb4 onda vital

"gringos" always trying to make everything "their way" always end up shitting everything they touch.

I-Is that place really filled with ponyfuckers?
I've never noticed
I just go for their H threads

Nobody likes dubs so why care about making them?

depends where you go, lately is being controled i guess, you'll find them in their random board or drawings i think, but outside it is free of bronies, but outside of that, the place needs more traffic because you can find months old threads being there with no recent reply

because they put effort into it?
murrican dubs sound like someone is just reading text, the same way I did my discourse in school.

ape language is the worst.
don't you have tourist to go rob or kill?

songoanda
a todo gas
etc etc.

I reckon it's mostly problems with American style intonation and acting which is on the same level as WWE and the curated children's cartoon scene.
Imagine a dub with chavs, Irishmen or Scots with actual personalities instead of children's cartoon "specialists".

Waaaaaaaaa!!!. There are people that speak a language other than English on this board.

It happens to me with American cartoons too, The Simpsons latin spanish's VA are thousands of time better than the original , I just can't listen to Homer original voice. But also true that dub anime isn't strong as before

>Inb4 Sup Forums

Jej, the Frenchs have good fansubs too, yet too slow with ongoing manga

Spanish dub > Subbed > Everything else
Siempre ha sido asi, insecto.

>Freeza jap voice is cliche evil guy voice
>latino Freeza voice is pretentious but proper speech villain, almost european

Freezer latino voice is god tier
