Damn, I love this. The vast majority of other mangaka portray the world and the people in it as all antiseptic and squeaky clean, but Asano's worlds are much more realistic.
I wouldn't say they're realistic.
In fact I think they're pretty jaded, and that's a pretty big contrast to your typical pure fantasy abime/manga.
So it might make you think so yeah.
