>Ghibli could have been a training ground for world-class animators
>Ghibli could have become a media giant that could compete with Disney

He'll die without leaving a legacy. Dumb faggot.

Good.

>you will die in your lifetime

Thank god for that.

Thanks user, now I'm sad.

Animu is his legacy.
He just don't have a mega corporation

Really makes you think

Hopefully sooner than that

Maybe you and I will die sooner than him, OP

>wanting another cancerous entity like disney locking everything away behind hundreds of years of bullshit copyright laws

Fuck no.

>I will die in your lifetime

Who cares? His movies follow the same formula and hasn't innovated since ever. He is literally the Pixar of Japan, except he's boring.

Pixar hasn't made great films since Up.

Sadly, this.

Good

False.

That's more than you could say for Hackazaki

jokes on you, i'm immortal

Not if I kill myself first, fucker.

He doesn't make animated children sexy enough with gratuitous bald vagina and ass shots. I need my animated kiddie porn Japan...

Besides the meme he is a bit sad about what anime turned nowaydays.
Theres few people to make a "serious" or 'simple' shows/movies.

Megumi hayshibara say somenthing too
>animenewsnetwork.com/interest/2016-05-23/megumi-hayashibara-shares-her-thoughts-on-modern-voice-acting/.102038

>Although Hayashibara was among the first voice actresses to become a celebrity entertainer in her own right (she is a singer and broke into the Oricon weekly album and song charts), she voiced misgivings about the emergence of voice actors as all-around entertainers. "If they put their faces out there [as gravure idols], what happens to the gap between them and their characters?" she wondered. She remained apprehensive even as she became a celebrity, but came to accept that fans would want to see voice actresses' faces if they were cute, and realized that "the border between voice actors and their characters disappeared." Yet she also realized that the previously lengthy lifespan of voice actors was now shortening and described voice acting as "shadow beauty."

>Hayashibara also complained about what she felt was a lack of originality in modern anime. She describes too many anime and characters as being "like XX," giving Evangelion and Rei as oft-imitated examples. "I want to get involved in making something that's not like something else."

>he will die in your lifetime
Jokes on you!

>Implying life extension won't be around in the next 20-40 years and your lifetime will never end.

When he dies, will studio Ghibli make a film about his life and work? Fuck, he should be writing and setting up for the studio now.

you will die in his lifetime

Now you genuinely made me sad, fuck you

Hmm... Really makes you think...

We've already lost so many iconic figures this year alone that if Miyazaki died all I could really do is watch his movies and remember the good times. With a fair amount of alcohol mind you.

I don't want tomino to die.

I came here to post this.

Tomino is an immortal lizard person, so don't worry.

>implying you'll have access to such services

Thanks user, that makes me feel better.

Time to kill myself now to prove a point on the Internet

Not soon enough.

> he is a bit sad about what anime turned nowaydays
Only if by "nowadays" you mean "since 1963." Seriously, he's been complaining about the loss of the golden days since the 60s, look it up. He thinks Tezuka fucked everything up and that the TV model was garbage from the start. Whatever your favorite serious 80s OVA for adults is, chances are he hates that, too.

I already saw Satoshi Kon go. I've had enough heartache.

Who will die first?

Worse things have happened.

I can't wait until he does. Such a shitty guy

>he will never die in your lifetime

>implying anyone wants to live forever
>implying life doesn't become boring and painful enough to the point one just finish his misery

I always see this meme. I've been alone my entire life, and it has been annoying at times, but really not that big of a deal. I enjoy having the time to think and do whatever I want. I wouldn't mind an eternal life of solitude in the least.

>inb4 edgy

So I'm just supposed to say I'd rather die, huh? I really can't understand why anyone would prefer death over eternal life.

But I'm already dead inside

Triggered weaboooooo

Pretty sad. I love KFC.

t. sub 30 years of age

While I can understand the relief and lifting of burdens one might get from suicide, I also know that it's just an easy way to get rid of your problems. The only thing death solves is getting rid of me and by extension my pain, but it also means I won't get to see or experience anything good or great that might come along. I'd rather endure the pain for now and see what the future holds for me.

I live alone with no friends and a shitty job, but I have anime, music, and my own mind to keep me company. I won't give up living until it is beyond my own power to stay alive.

>araki will survive by stealing the life force of musicians forever
Too bad he's a one trick pony

>There are powerpuff girls doujinshi's out there

Just imagine living forever, seeing all the same crap again, living the same shitty existence again, working at the same shitty job again everyday

you may be too young to understand, but trust me, nobody truly wants to live for forever

also

>everybody wants to live forever, nobody wants to be old

>Being a poorfag.

>t.
Fuck off crossboarder.

...

>While I can understand the relief and lifting of burdens one might get from suicide, I also know that it's just an easy way to get rid of your problems
While I understand the profit and lifting of debts one might get from starting a business, I also know it's just an easy way to get rid of your financial troubles.

>Yet she also realized that the previously lengthy lifespan of voice actors was now shortening and described voice acting as "shadow beauty."

This is kind of legitimately sad. Sakaki from Azumanga Daioh VA is now forced to be hentai VA. Japan cycles and throw away idolshit like they're garbage once the girls past their expiration date or got hit by a dating scandal at alarming rate

Starting a business does not end your life and existence forever, you fucking idiot. Starting a business is a continued expansion of your own financial situation and will hopefully provide future profit. Suicide is merely an end to everything. You can choose it if you want, but it's not illogical to choose to live instead.

Your argument is fucking retarded.

>implying he didn't write ripple out of JoJo so people would forget about it and not catch on.

Who are you quoting?
>If it already spread to Sup Forums
That's why you tell cancerous crossboarders like you to fuck off.

Anime died in his lifetime, so it's okay.

You fucking idiot, I don't want immortality so I can work a boring job forever, Sure I'll have to work for now, but someday when humanity changes or falls, I can live a different life. If nothing else, there will come a time when I do have eternal peace with my mind still conscious, and that alone is worth it to me.

The thought of being old is not appealing to me, I've kept my body healthy through exercise and I do not wish to see it become weak and unable to do the things I can now. Yes, there are many shitty things in life, but as it is now I'm okay with my life. I have achieved some simple goals of my own, and I really, really, really enjoy daydreaming. Death will remove my ability to think and daydream, and I don't want that.

Not only did I successfully call you out as the pretentious youngster that you are, you even failed to recognize which exact part of your flimsy logic I'm ridiculing with my analogy. The point of my post was to point out how retarded it is to dismiss something as being "easy". Saying suicide is an "easy route out" or some such is no different than saying solving a problem using a good solution is bad.
In typical retard fashion you fail to recognize the part of my analogy is actually a-n-a-l-o-g-o-u-s to your statement (the part where both things are "easy"), and instead you focus on the differences, despite the fact that analogies, by their very nature, are not identical to the thing they are compared to, nor are they supposed to be.

Sup Forums will die in your lifetime.

Life Extension/Reverse Aging is predicted to be available by 2030-2040 for a jew price.

Live 14-24 more years to see your dream come true user.

Then let me re-phrase it. Yours is a shitty analogy, because even in the essence of easiness, Suicide is an easiness which ends very differently from starting a business. Furthermore, what I meant by "easy" is really that it is the most easily attainable end. A business is not so easily attainable and requires a lot more effort and possible failure in the future. If anything suicide and starting a business are fundamental opposites of one another. One is a step towards an uncertain future, the other removes any future at all.

This. He's shat all over robots, sci-fi, and action series for decades, too. What he wants isn't manime or whatever nonsense like that, it's a bunch of wholesome family fare with good lessons and a focus on character animation.

Now you're just nitpicking. Starting a business and committing suicide aren't too dissimilar. Both are hardest at the beginning, and in a way both require a "leap of faith". I'm quite pleased with myself now that I think about it.

Well, you've watered them down so much that almost anything could work as an analogy for suicide now. That applies to pretty much any action performed within the physics of this universe.

Why are you so intent on proving that no one has different wants from you? You're not some special snowflake who know everything about the world and has a complete understanding of all humans. You must be immature if you believe you know everything there is to know about humanity from your own simple point of view. I desire immortality, and you do not. We merely have different wants. You should not be angry because I desire something you do not. I only said that I chose not to commit suicide, I even stated it's fine if others do choose it. That just isn't what I want. Yes I have considered it, and I have felt the desire before, but I decided not to, and it has turned out to be a good decision. So I don't think I will in the future.

I like to think, and death removes that possibility. Nothing scares me more than the thought of loosing the ability to think. The idea of "me" not existing and not even being aware of itself anymore is far more terrifying to me than having to work a shitty job or especially see other people do stupid shit.

My god lad, that's enough posting for one thread. I'm not an advocate for suicide, but I have considered it gravely and had many internet arguments about it, and in light of you comment I felt the need to better represent the pro-suicide position. You go on and live as long as you want user, and don't let anyone stop you!

Yeah okay user. Likely they'll ban us for off-topic posting anyway.

His soul was already sold to Disney anyway.

I'll probably end up watching his productions after he dies, but for now I don't really care

>Disney
>his legacy being attributed to anything that happened after his death
World would have been better off if Disney closed down before the jews took over

Yea, fuck him. He makes western cartoons, not anime.

Is he really a pedo?

This. He also called Osamu Tezuka "pretentious". Hayao Miyazaki belong to the school of full-animation, not anime anyway.

I came here to post this

Can't say I care, Ghibli doesn't need him that much. It'll be sad but not too much.

It's ok.
Everything comes to an end eventually.
The day we are born onto this world we start dying.
Komm süßer Tod!

Damn...

pretty sure i'm going to die before he does

I couldn't care less about this corporate kike memester. Stan Lee is as much of a despicable judenschwein thief as Mark (((Zuckerberg)))
