Wave was a mistake. Wave was a hypocrite that never did anything in the manga and already ditched both sides last chapter and only came back because the explosion was too big for him and because his girlfriend told him to do it instead of him making the decision, himself.

The author dropped the ball extremely hard on this "final battle".

Tatsumi would've been a good character if this series was a seinen. That way, the author would've focused more getting rid of the anguish of the 2 friends he grew up with instead of being relieved of it instantly by a hug from Schere.

Wave had always one goal, to change the empire ways from the inside and help the people, he realized that his struggle was futile and decided to give his life for Kurome instead of giving his life for the people, thinking the revolutionary army would take charge of the matter, but now he watched the explosion and knew they needed his help, his goal is still the same, to help people. His only doubt at the moment of the explosion was if it was ok to leave Kurome side, which got solved pretty fast.

He's one with Tyrant now, so as long Tyrant is functioning he will keep evolving and adapting to the situation, now the problem is going to be that once the fight is over he will still have all the injuries from the battle and die on the spot.

This series would've been better if it was in the PoV of Wild Hunt.
