Top floors of Mandalay Bay are owned by rich Saudis. Al-Aweed has connections.
Paddock was an FBI/CIA gun runner.
Paddock buys legal rifles and ammunition in the U.S. He sells them to the Saudis.
The Saudis and U.S. Government are in cahoots with the entire deal.
The rich Saudis fly freely back and forth between USA and Saudia Arabia, without plane inspections. They can freely exchange weapons across U.S. boarders undisturbed. They are a protected class.
The Saudis pass the weapons off to their non-state grunt workers. ISIS / Al-qaeda / Whatever-the-fuck identity they choose to go with.
These terrorist/resistance fighters cause whatever mayhem they see fit across the Middle East. Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, whatever. The guns themselves become untraceable, because the guns aren't tied to the U.S. government nor the Saudi Arabia government.
A gun that gets tossed around in the dirt in the Middle East for a decade will NEVER be traced back to a Nevada gun registry, Paddock doesn't even have to worry so the guns are registered in his name.
Paddock used gambling to launder his dirty money into clean money, and lives the utmost lavish lifestyle. He's got it made.
Now,
I can't say what went wrong on the night of the Vegas shooting. All I know is that the chaos and miscommunication caused confusion between the parties, which is why ISIS mistakenly claimed responsibility. They weren't supposed to publicly claim that. Paddock wasn't the shooter, it was Saudis/ISIS, and they fled out the room, up the staircase, to take refuge in the arms of the Saudis upstairs where they could be extracted back to the Middle East at a later time.
The motive is 1 of 2 possible things.
1. Al-Aweed betrayed the US. He worked closely with the U.S. for decades, but Trump became President, and they have a staunch rivalry. The attack was a backstab.
2. Trump was making a sincere effort to cut this bullshit out. The Saudis didn't take kindly to that suggestion.
