maybe someone i know stayed at the the plaza once in vegas and needed to smoke something while staying on the top floor. not being a dumb faggot that person opened up the stairwell door and put a piece of cardboard into the door slot and ran back to their room to wait and see if there would be a response. not even 3 min later there was a uniformed hotel security, maintenance in uniform and a plainclothes with a badge that came up all together in the elevator... walked past the room, and went to the stair door and un jammed it
that person also triggered a smoke detector in the adjoining room on accident later that week and the same response came up to the top floor just as quick and opened up the un occupied room to see what was happening

Also, since they changed the story to have Jesus come up before the shooting, the first story was he came up to investigate an open door, and the second story was that he came up to investigate drill noises. the door sensor theory is only true if it was the door sensor to upper levels, and the drill theory is only true if they have some sort of 'drill noise detection devices' planted in their room.

I said the same things earlier but it was pointed out by another user that many Vegas casinos have sensors on the door that trigger a silent alarm when left open for a certain interval of time. This is the place that has snacks in the room that when taken charge you (10x the retail price) for that item. And camera everywhere. Mandalay Bay does have them in the hallways. Windows would have sensors too because this is a Casino. And somebody on a window washing cabled scaffolding could break in

no one sensors the room doors like people are suggesting happened....sometimes the cards keep track of what rooms you go into and how many times but the room doors are not on timed alarms or sensors or anything like that, you know how many drunk idiots leave their doors ajar? run to the ice machine or some dumb shit? they would need a separate service in the hotel to close all the doors all the fucking time
the theory about him coming up to investigate the stair door makes sense, it also makes sense paddock would want to use the stairs as a possible escape route after his plan because the elevators would take too much time to distance yourself from that room and you might run into someone coming up because it would be the fastest way to get to the top for first respondents too..
