>when your on the floor someone will kick your head
I didnt say its a complete system, but RNC can be dont standing also.
I've boxed, wrestled and done BJJ for 6 years now. If I had to teach someone how to defend themselves, I'd start with wrestling.
because i don't like to lie on the ground hugging other guys. i'm not a faggot. bjj is efficient, but i'd rather get along without engaging in physical disputes. civilized society is preferable to me and if conflict is unavoidable, i'd rather have a gun than to start dry-humping some other dude to see who's strongest...
>I'm sorry brother
I've combined Judo with my surgical skills and it's really effective.
Get the attacker down using his momentum and then remove his kidneys with a scalpel.
I was for awhile took a break and I want to get back into it though if you can carry a gun it's a million times better.
no gay?!
ha! gayyyyyyy!
Why would I learn that gay shit when I can just pop my concealed carry?
I do, it's a lot of fun and a great workout. Train hard, like a wrestler would and you'll get a nice physique out of it too. Some BJJ gyms are low energy, find one that goes hard (but safely) and works stand-up grappling.
There is a time and a place for everything. There are countless videos of people getting fucked up by wrestlers/grapplers on the internet.
Yeah, you don't want to be grappling against multiple attackers, but not every fight is like that. And even against multiple attackers, grappling is what might save you if one of them takes you down or tries to take you down.
But really, the attitude and discipline that grappling instill combined with the exercise are enough reason to train.
why don't you come over here for some gay you cheeky bugger you
I am.
Going to my 8th class on Thursday. Have already experienced huge difference in my cardio and strength and just my overall confidence. Would highly recommend.
You mean a knife or a gun? Because the rest is a sport at best and a fantasy at worst.
Wtf are you watching? Gay porn? MMA is degenerate.
It's shit against niggers and you should never end up on the ground in a street fight because you never know who will run up and kick your heading in (usually niggers)
Ii also uses up vast amounts of energy so you'll have to practice cardio a lot.
Standing up learning to strike hard and fast and knock your attacker out in under a few seconds is best, it keeps you alert to other attackers and only uses up a small amount of energy.
Reminder that there is one move that can be learned in ten minutes that eliminates that whole martial art from a street fight.
It is absolutely useless on the street, except for conditioning which can be done much more efficiently by training other things.
Boxing is great, but what are you going to do when some going grabs you? No martial art is complete. It's best to train both striking and grappling. As for it being shit, there are countless videos of people saving their asses with it.
What is this move?
Looks pretty gay
You need to know some basics like in krav maga if you are grabbed, you need to avoid the ground at all costs, if you go to the ground you need to get off there are fast as possible so I wouldn't spend too much time training all fancy arm locks etc.
Are there any videos of anyone using Krav to save their ass? I've never seen any. Seen lots where people successfully use wrestling, boxing, BJJ, and/or Muay Thai to defend themselves. This is why I consider them the best and most practical martial arts, along with kickboxing (which I'm less familiar with).
And yeah, I would never want do an armbar in a street fight. But there are some situations where a kimura or an armbar will prevent somebody from beating the shit out of you. If I had to use BJJ to defend myself, I'd ideally use it to hold someone down and smash their face in. Everyone thinks of BJJ as submissions, but it's more about control.
They are just more common and krav maga is more dangerous.
Most skills imo are for competition and they are impressive. You don't want to last any longer than a few seconds on the streets fighting.
The videos you've seen, there are also plenty of videos of people having their faces smashed open, brain damaged, stabbed, dead etc.
People feel confident they can use all their skills but one little drug addict need only pull a screwdriver out and push it into your throat.
Whenever I watch this the winner always seems to have an erection. Funny that.
Street fights are usually over in seconds.
There is this version of real aikido and a master of it developed and changed the techniques to make them suitable to street fights.
Essentially the move is an elbow blow to the back of the attackers head that tries to grapple.
Beginner with 0 martial arts experience can do it and it ignores the skill of the attacker and weight category.
Doing it with a brick, knife, bat, stick, rock, etc. can kill.
>be a nigger living innacity
>be patrolling the street one night looking for women to rape or atms to knock over
>start wondering if I should try being a valuable member of society and stop being a drain on the system
>lol naw
>see white manlet leaving a dive bar
>targetacquired.jpg
>gimme yo money cracka
>white boy sizes me up and then drops straight to his ass on the ground
>starts scooting toward me on his ass with his legs outstretched
>muttering something that sounds like "betcha can't pass my guard lol"
>this keeps going on for some time because I just keep taking a step back as this faggot scoots towards me
>"cmon bro try to get out of my spider guard"
>finally get sick of it
>pull out my glock and shoot him and leave him for dead
>as I walk away hear him say something with his dying breath
>"90 percent of all fights go to the ground..."
You're almost certainly not going to be in position to elbow a good grappler with enough force.
You think nobody tried that? Hell, somebody did it in the old school street fight videos they Gracie's used to shill their gym with. It didn't work and the dude got his ass kicked. Like anything it can work well in some situations, but it sure as hell isn't one move that singlehandedly neutralizes grappling.
>Essentially the move is an elbow blow to the back of the attackers head that tries to grapple.
sprawl with elbow strike? low percentage. try it youll see.

wrestling is the most primal MA, but if I had to choose only one it would be BJJ since it teaches you how to finish and less phis demanding. That being said, wrestling is the most crucial of all (bjj vs wrestling is a pointless debate).
