I have already seen the anime, and i liked it
Should I read the manga too?
Is it depressing enough? Does it ad something more to the story?
I heard Misaki is kinda different in the paper

Novel >= Anime > Manga

The one and only truth.

I heard the novel has only a few parts of the anime

Would the anime have been better if they left in the drug abuse? He seemed a little to innocent for a hikky

maybe...it would have made more sense

manga is much better

But I heard Misaki is kinda too unrealistic in the manga...
also the end is different, apparently

Anime Misaki has massive self-esteem issues.
Manga Misaki is off the deep end, might as well be insane.
Novel Misaki is fucking depressed to shit.

The novel is very succinct, you don't even get to know Senpai's name and the MLM plotline doesn't exist. The characters act more like real humans, and are generally more accepting/depressed about their personal situations. Read the novel if you want to know about Satou's inner thoughts more thoroughly and see a non-intrusive Misaki.

It might make you more depressed though, as the author is even right now is still haunted by the story he himself wrote.

So the Manga Misaki is indeed the worse

By far, yes. In the anime she peeps Satou's apartment from her house, in the manga she fucking wiretaps it.

Yeah, I saw it is a pretty autobiographical story

The Novel Misaki peeps on Satou?

Almost a decade and a half after, he's still thinking about the story, or as he say, "cursed".

Never really revealed, and it's actually doubtful if she actually does that.

Well...I guess the Misaki character is fictional, though
