Deregulate and fire all lawyers n judges

simple

want end to shortages?

let housing be mass produced

...

There is already an over abundance of housing in the US. Even after the housing crash in 2007 the market is still to over inflated in valuation due to the bailouts.

not at all

not unitl rent 100 a month

fukface

they paid the builders to much

and too much limitied restiocied monopoly market in materials liek overpiced education institutions

controlled market si not free market

leads to expensive price up and shortages

last year there were nearly 19 million empty homes. At the time there were 4 million homeless people. There is simply already an over supply of homes, and the value of them currently is over inflated.

Housing is already mass produced. The reason housing is so expensive is because of demand, not supply, so if you want rent to become 100 dollars a month or something then yeah, you’re gonna be waiting a while.

Part of the reason for the over inflated price for homes, (thus their perceived high value) is due to regulations on who can sell homes, the red tape involved in their sale, and banks ownership through mortgages.

why dont they sell for lower?

finance and overpayign fo builders

and restricted market

need boarding houses 100 a month living

I think one of the most insidious reasons for high housing prices is the sizes of loans that normal people are allowed to take to buy themselves a home. When people are allowed to borrow money that they can't reasonably pay off for half their lifespan then prices of housing will be inflated to match how much the average person is able to borrow.

Look son, a Barbie doll

housing liek desktop pc should go down in price each year

always suspect finacne which is scammy

and end unions and laws that force unions on us

Part of the reason is local demand, and because of this local demand people often buy homes and don't live in them as an investment. This happens in places like NYC and other major metropolitan areas.
this is one of the biggest factors (just like the reason for "higher education" being so over-inflated in cost in the US as well.
Basically if we wanted this problem to go away, the banks should have had to eat the shit they created with the credit default swaps. But instead the government stepped in. Due to this there will likely never be (in our life times) an actual recovery of affordable real estate as this set an unrealistic precedent of saving the asses of people issuing credit for things and taking usury to an entirely new high.

nah your way off

its gov controls

houses are over priced in materials n labor

should maybe high volume durible cheap far apart houses

and monorails n private roads spread out

not beehive cheap make many bux from

fuk that shit

As a person that builds homes, I can assure you there are plenty of people (mostly illegals that out bid me) who will build a home for next to nothing. As for materials, yes they used to be far cheaper, but they really are not that bad. The thing that pushes the price up the most is the over inflation of the land valuation that the banks have almost direct control of.

Your butchering of the English language has no validity in the cultured discussion of economic and lawful issues, please seek help.

silence dunce

ask why desktop computer cheaper every year not house

and do you know who holds the deeds for land now in most places... it's the bank, and they hold it until the credit they issued you to buy or build the home is entirely paid for as collateral. Beyond that they can inflate the value of their holding via appraisal and saying it is worth X more now, when in reality the improvements done (like building a house) cost X/2

computers get cheaper because their life span is far shorter, and do not incur costs simply by owning them, they are not a durable good.
For a fair comparison, a computer would have to last 30 odd years (normal mortgage length now) with refurbishment and taxes paid on its value every year.

hmmm...

>asking lawyers and judges to deregulate and fire themselves
