Can someone explain to me this madness? what the fuck is so great about this show? I'm in a heated debate with family and they're actually defending this shit
Is it as intellectually thought provoking and "good" as they say it is? because I just saw this and instantly made up my mind that it is just degeneracy and putting stupidity on a pedestal
Killyourself nigger, I'm trying to get the famility uncucked by cartoons
Asher Russell
you assholes were pushing this shit on this site for two years saying how redpilled it was and now that it is popular you want to hate it and say it is loaded with degeneracy.
fickle fucking hipsters. i hate this place.
Jace Campbell
>fanboys are retarded Colour me shocked It's okay for a cartoon - has some objectively funny moments. Not worth sperging out over though.
Camden Fisher
Fuck off cunt I'm a newfag, don't pin that shit on me, I only came on Sup Forums to shitpost and be surrounded by 1488, and who knew donald trump would be elected because of that effort.
Anyway, what's so redpilled about a show that glorifies prancing like a fucking idiot? that's human trash tier
Jacob Bell
>uncucked psychology isn't real science user
Ian Richardson
Rick and Morty is one of the best cartoons on TV at the moment, but that's not saying much.
David Ross
I think hating Rick and Morty is the new hating Nickleback, an easy target people will bandwagon on to signal to each other how cool and smart they are (I am cooler and smarter). They pull a lot of gay shit on the show but its pretty much Family Guy 2. There are a reasonable amount of funny parts.
Aiden Phillips
>in a heated debate with family
You must be 18+ to be in this board. For anyone else, its just stupid comedy for stupid people pretending to be smart. People just like things that think makes them smarter, even if it couldn't be farther from the truth. This is basically a successor to the infamous show: "The big bang theory".
Sebastian Carter
Shows/Songs/Books/Games easy to understand become incredibly popular. This show is not an exception. The deal about that show, attracts "pseudo-intellectuals" such as big bang theory, majority of these individuals are gullible and/or want to be part of something so badly.
Oliver Johnson
I'm 22 autist living with the mum whats new
Jeremiah Powell
At least the big bang theory didn't make retards go and jump up and down at the maccas, or did it?
Eli White

The show is adored by those it ridicules on an episodic basis. Yet hey its got those normie memes pickle rick so random, so they stick around for that 1 out of 10 normie meme almost explicitly put there to ridicule them.

I did see a friend's friend acting like a giant baby in front of her mother because she didn't have the money to buy him a gaming PC or he won't be able to be part of the "cool kids" >my friend and I were literally in front of them >her face when
Asher Perez
It's the Magic School bus for Adults
Carson Perez
Actually something very embarrasing did happen, like hearing a guy on teamspeak/discord basically beg his mum to stay on the game longer kek and also being over a mates house him screaming at his mum to get something etc.
I understand that some people just have no self awareness or humility, but I fucking hate it when media is made to propagate that shit.
Jonathan White
I enjoy it bc i used to read a lot of 50s-60s sci fi literature. They use a lot of those themes, time paradoxes, alternate realities/histories, fate v free will, and so on. Bretty fun
John Parker
I actually don't see the problem? I enjoy rick and morty i think their humor is witty. Something new for a change. Just because they talk about parallel universes people believe you need to be smart to watch and understand it. This usually is a good sign that proves that they're retards. It's just a tv show. LOL
Jace Long
so you made up your mind about a work of art based on the behavior of its fanbase? What a *burp* rocket scientist
Brody Campbell
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer’s head. There’s also Rick’s nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they’re not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick’s existential catchphrase “Wubba Lubba Dub Dub,” which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev’s Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon’s genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them.
And yes, by the way, i DO have a Rick & Morty tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It’s for the ladies’ eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they’re within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid
Asher Martinez
It's just to intel of gents big bazinga theory
brainlet normies who like fight club as the best film ever made and think they are alternative and muh nihilism like it
Connor Phillips
It appeals to millennials because of their weak fathers and lack of any transcendent meaning in their life.
Josiah Diaz
yes socialism is also a work of art yet so many here also have disdain for it due to the behaviour of its 'fanbase', ****BRAAAAAAAAP** physicist

Reddit and Memey are good cartoon but not as nearly as you know what.
Thomas Rogers
is a normies show
Luis Myers
The show is average to pretty good. Anyway, it's so stupidly popular now that idiots like it. Now we all have to have an opinion on it. Watching the show will tell you nothing about why some people ape over it on McDonalds counters.
Jace Gomez
The picklerick episode is funny, but the conversation he has with the therapist at the end is a psyop
>argue with a friend over the subject constantly >watch Picklerick >he doesnt realise that Rick changes his stance in the last 2 sentences of the convo, (swapping dialogue perspectives with the therapist)
>thinks it proves him right, and misses the change in stance because the same voice is saying it
it shows how easy it is to make people think something (that are polar opposites) if you just put on a puppet show

its a good show first two season are pretty nice. Its the fanbase that fucks it up for everyone.

When I see or hear the show mentioned, I immediately think of the copypasta. The show is synonymous with the copypasta.
Landon Rogers
>watching TV at all Enjoy your propaganda
Eli Jones
It’s an occasionally funny cartoon which you can enjoy without really analyzing it
Jaxson Adams
I find the show a decent gateway to the topics they present.
Parker Richardson
It's a decently funny show with a """"smart"""" main character so it attracts some weird people.
Ayden Phillips
This guy is actually an asian polack fucking with Rick and Morty fags. He has his own youtube channel full of Battle of Berkley footage, identarian memes, skelegates and shit PICKLE REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Dominic Murphy
The show jumped the shark with that McDonald’s shit. Too obvious product placement
Jason Nelson
It's a decent young adult targeted show. There's nothing else about it. I think shows generally being shit for so long caused the first barely good thing with a nice concept behind it to gain popularity. It's not "redpilled" or anything, it's just a less SJW version of doctor who meets llamas with hats.
Ian Perez
it's just a cartoon show that references a lot of sci-fi movies from the 80's
you're all thinking way too hard about this
Tyler Fisher

((They)) saw a show about two white males getting too popular, so forced a bunch of women to wrote for it. Now that it has been "cleaned up" it's super popular because it's being pushed in the ((MSM))
Jacob Myers
It's a good show. I binge watched it this week, I never watched it before but I knew the memes.
The fanbase is gay as shit. But you faggots who diss stuff just because the community is shit are retarded as well. Can't you just enjoy stuff for what it is and ignore the faggotry of the fanbase?
I watched the 3 seasons, I enjoyed it, I'll watch season 4 when it comes.
I like the show's (multi)universe and the space/portal travel allows for very creative stuff. It's nice as well to see there is plot and character development, and the episodes are not self contained, there are story arcs and I'm hyped for the inevitable conclusion to the Evil Morty storyline, for example (and you have Tammy and Cyberbird plotlines as well)... desu half the shit you guys take as cringey I take it as a self aware mockery of other shows, "IM PICKLE RIIIICK" is like a lot of the shitposting: ironic.
+ the mix of 2/3 movies/series/books in each episode is more often than not done in a cool way, and allows them to pack a lot for entertaining moments in every episode without them having to lose time "explaining" some... plot mechanics to us since we get what they're referencing right away.
It's hard to express myself at this level in english ("done in a cool way" is a very simplified way of putting it) but Anyway those are my 2 cents. I recommend you to watch this show.
Parker Cook
It's not all that, tbqh. Mildly entertaining, but not to the autistic levels of the faggots shilling this show.
Noah Sanders
Maybe it's thought provoking if you're used to looking at reddit and watching commercials all the time. But if you've read an actual book or two it's just a regular show with regular jokes. Just because the jokes aren't slapstick doesn't mean they're intellectual
Julian Green
>babbys first (((redpilled))) cartoon
Andrew Nelson
First two seasons are good with bad episodes mixed in. Watch the first two seasons consider the ending of season 2 the canon ending.
Season 3 they brought in diversity writers that neither understood nor cared about what made the show good. Season 3 is a soap opera without sympathetic characters.
Jordan Miller
*BUURRRP* MORTY I TURNED MYSELF INTO A REVOLUTIONARY MORTY. I'M COLIN KAPER-RICK!!!!

>The fanbase is gay as shit. But you faggots who diss stuff just because the community is shit are retarded as well. well said, but you are going to get flamed for being rational about this
Jace Cook
the only good thing about season 3 is the ending where rick gets put in his place. he really is a selfish prick/dick named rick and his a spic too, cuz rick sanchez
Robert King
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to dislike the Rick and Morty fanbase...
Nicholas Cooper
good one mohhamedo-kun i laffed a bit
Jacob Fisher
Thought provoking, really they actually believe this. You will never gain anything meaningful from a 30 minute cartoon especially R&M.
Tell them to read more
Jackson Ortiz
Its good, but its not as good as people seam to think it is
Matthew Kelly
Checked! This will probably happen in the show.
Juan Roberts
Its an entertaining show with creative plotlines and i chuckle at least once an ep. I thoroughly looked forward to seeing new eps while it was airing. I guess im a value-less degenerate. Always sunny is one of my favorite shows as well and im sure thats verboten for you autists.
Andrew Walker
this Sup Forums always hated (((TV)))
Grayson Green
It's hated because normies like it. Season 1 and 2 are pretty good. People use the "smart" meme because it's flavored with pseudoscience and dimensional theory, along with a few moral quandary episodes. It's about as scientific as Big Bang Theory.
Season 3 takes a dip in quality because they switched up the writing staff to be half female rather than hiring the best writers.
I had quite a few laughs and look forward to new episodes. I can't stand the fanbase that's forming around it and the antifanbase is almost as annoying.
Adrian Campbell
Much like Sup Forums it was never good only new and interesting
Nathaniel Brooks
>creative plotlines PICKLE RICK!! XD
Robert Roberts
Pickle Rick was due to the influence of the new awful female writers. Season 3 was a really mixed bag, Pickle was probably the worst episode of all time.
Oliver Morris
Can canada even receive rick & morty where they are?
Grayson Barnes
The hardest and faggest of lefties I know practically salivate over that dumbass show, primarily cause Rick is a postmodern nihilist and they think they are oh so smart for being in on the shows overarching themes.
Daniel Hughes

its exactly as you describe it, although it is entertaining. These faggots just got overhyped about it, it'll blow off. Just "agree" with them .

two years ago this place wasnt a shithole filled with redditors and the_donald rapefugees
Ian Long
>intellectually thought provoking What? Burp and put this up your ass humor? Ts that meant to be funny? Or the edgy tired of living rantings of Rick? I've watched some episodes. It's not funny. It's not even entertaining. They go to other dimensions, over and over again, and that's it. That's the whole story.
Plus the Szechuan Sauce riots have proven that the fan base is even more cringeworthy than ponyfaggots or kekistanis.
I guess you can't be too suprised when people are so hypnotized.
Aaron Smith
Its just edge comedy that lets stupid people feel smarter by proxy. Theres nothing special about it other than people react like you do, which is the point.
James Allen
It's just shit, that's all there is to it.
Jaxon Wood
the show is fine, user. its a cartoon meant to either be funny or not, i dont know what kind of comedy you like. watch it without trying to insert some hidden or political agenda. you'll find a lot of shows are watchable despite what people on a Bangladeshi sausage making forum say.
Parker Cruz
Why can't it just be a show? It's just meant to be stupid and retarded about something fictional. People should learn to just enjoy
Leo Stewart

Caleb Perez
I don't understand the whole 'intelligent thought provoking' thing', but I do think it is very funny. The fanboys are brony tier though.
Camden Thompson
>I just got in a heated debate with family about Rick & Morty >I just saw this example of the fanbase being shit and instantly made up my mind that the show must be bad if the fanbase is bad
looks like you really aren't intelligent enough to get this show's highly intellectually thought provoking humor OP.
Lucas Watson
>tfw all my normie friends immediately say how incredible pickle rick was when i bring up the new season
Easily one of the weakest eps of the season. Morty's minblowers was probably my fave.
Landon Fisher
Definitely the best one. My favorite gag of the entire season was the Robot Morty gaining self-awareness but it was in a super mediocre episode.
Camden Russell

My teacher said to my I'm a failure, that I'll never amount to anything. I scoffed at him. Shocked, my teacher asked what's so funny, my future is on the line. "Well...you see professor" I say as the teacher prepares to laugh at my answer, rebuttal at hand. "I watch Rick and Morty." The class is shocked, they merely watch pleb shows like the big bang theory to feign intelligence, not grasping the humor. "...how? I can't even understand it's sheer nuance and subtlety." "Well you see...WUBBA LUBBA DUB DUB!" One line student laughs in the back, I turn to see a who this fellow genius is. It's none other than Albert Einstein.
Chase Sanders
>switched up the writing staff to be half female rather than hiring the best writers
This. Unless you have a lot of female characters, hiring female writers is a waste of time. Having women write jokes or male characters is absolutely cringe-worthy, especially the lol bacon reddit type women Rick and Morty hired.
Ryan Gutierrez
Mindblowers was so contrived and they end it with "Badass Summer saves the dumb boys who play with memories too much."
It is okay when Summer/Beth do the occasional thing, but the women writers need those fucks to YASS QUEEN SLAAAAAY. More than half the episodes in S3 is Summer or Beth being "awesome."
Jordan Jenkins

Yea that was pretty ghey. Doesnt completely invalidate all the cool scenes from that ep though.
