IF you could forget one anime just to enjoy watching it again which one would be?

Death Note would be amazing to watch again without knowing how it ends

the hype episode by episode was amazing !

FullMetal Alchemist

best ride i ever had

It's been a while but I guess I would choose Higurashi.

Eye Opening arc broke me

Obviously evangelion, whoever says otherwise is fundamentaly wrong and should stop watching anime.

If I could watch something 100% unspoiled it would be Madoka Magica.

inb4 hate

Can I just forget Candidate for a Goddess? That anime was so garbage it made me lower my standards so much because nothing else could be worse than that piece of garbage.

Nichijou

Aria. The ride is never quite as comfy as it was the first time.

Beserk and I wouldn't watch it ever because Miura is a faggot that can't finish shit.
If that doesn't count then I'd say dragon ball.

Probably Mirai Nikki or Higurashi

Wow, what a terrible choice.

Probably the Ninja Scroll film, I wonder if I would like it as much if I hadn't seen it as a 9 year old who thought since it was animated it was for kids.

mirai nikki up there fo sho.
when 9 comes back is easily my hypest anime moment ever

Please explain

Code Geass, Lelouch suffering is on same tier as Okabe or Subaru.
Watching Euphinator was infuriating but make me feels good.

I want to forget everything about Kill la Kill because everyone shitposting about it made me enjoy it way less than if I watched it with a fresh mind.

What exactly do you mean by "forget"? Are you just forgetting watching it? Are you forgetting just the memory of the plot, but not your feelings while watching it? What about talking about it? Does it earase everything you ever saw about it? Or just the things you saw during and after watching it? Will you remember it as a good anime and something worth watching, or will it be perfectly clean.

God, what if you forgot your favourite anime to rewatch it but you didn't remember how important it was to you, so you put it at the bottom of your backlog and never get back to it.

Spice and Wolf, please.

naruto of course.

haruhi

Nichibros

I wish to once again experience the feeling of wonderment that truly anything might happen at any time, and what did happen (such as Live Alive) was surprising and fantastic

Gekkan Shoujo so I can laugh again.

I think I'd be alright cutting off a pinky or some other relatively unimportant digit to be able to experience Evangelion for the first time again. Especially since I was already spoiled for a bunch of stuff when I first watched it, I was dumb enough to watch the dub, and now I can watch the whole series and EoE at once in passable quality.

Just write a fucking note to yourself for after the procedure saying "watch this show, faggot, I got my brain wiped for this shit."

Just one?
Shin Sekai Yori
Nagi no Asukara
Code Geass
etc.

I really can't choose.

If I did this with Shin Sekai Yori then I would probably get to the episode where the guys make out and drop it again. It wasn't until I watched it a second time and decided to power through it that I was able to really enjoy the show. Great show and the gay shit does make sense for Satoru's character development and the subsequent bonding with Saki over Shun but it does hit you out of no where when it's unexpected.

The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya.

Jojo

Probably Gurren Lagann

Fine, but what about the other stuff.

Take something like Eva. If you just erase the plot and various spoilers from your mind, but you still remember everything else you've ever seen and heard about it, can you imagine how much more harshly you'd judge it? Not to mention how many shows it's it's inspired since its release that you've seen that would completely colour your interpretatoin of it if you were to take it in now fresh.

You could easily completly destroy your appreciation for a show by losing the context of it's first watch.

Now think about it, if you decide to forget about one anime you watched, you'd also have to forget about all the threads and discussion made in Sup Forums about that particular anime, is it really worth it?

JoJo or SZS

I would be BTFO when I arrived to SZS truth

HxH because living though these hiatuses are pure agony

Definitely this.

>I would probably get to the episode where the guys make out and drop it again.
I'm really grateful I'm not watching that series weekly with Sup Forums back then.
Because I'll drop it too, if so.
