It's okay if he's an Ikuhara character.

He couldnt handle getting ntr'ed by Akio's BBC.

It was so obtuse and completely inconsequential to the plot that I really don't even fucking remember.

Thank god that whole thing was removed in the movie version of the story.

CURRIED

Not even the characters in the show remembered

I thought his arc was the highlight of the series

I started skimming the show in the middle of the Black Rose arc. Once it decided to go psychological on meaningless characters like the sister and the little boy I was fucking checked out.

Actually, I think at that point most of the characters were meaningless outside of Utena, Anthy, and the redhaired fag (and Akio, who had yet to be introduced), so the whole arc existed in a bubble.

He was gay.

He read Proust

His arc was pretty fun. Many of the side characters got their spotlight for a while.

He needed to go deeper.

...

Except getting into the head of the minor characters is important to better get their relationships with the main ones.
Idealization is a big point in Utena so you need everyone's point of view to see the truth of the matter.

DESIGNAT'D

He's a robot.

He was a failed Utena

The guy who fell in love with Wakaba is one of the purest guys in the history of anime.

He couldn't find a decent Barber

His arc definitely was my favorite.

I'm not even sure how much of the black rose arc even happened, like why was the building run-down?
Why was he delusional?
Was it because of Akio?
