As someone who has a brother with a moderate social anxiety disorder, go fuck yourself. The best thing his wife did for him was convince him to go to a doctor and get a prescription. As much support as she could give him it meant jack shit when she wasn't there, ever since he started taking anxiety medication he's actually been able to hold a job. Hugs don't make things better, they just stop them from getting worse.
