Not really, he just prioritized getting Casca to safety. He even says to Schierke in some panel that he intends to hit Griffith's kind one day, when they will not expect it. What would be retarded is letting Griffith go after what he did.

He outright says that "he's doing it again", which is not realizing what he has and chasing after bullshit instead. Hell, he even says he's the one who "started the war" by abandoning Griffith back then. Reread the Dark Horse scans.

That doesn't change the fact he says he wants to hit Griffith when he gets the chance. Even half-dead and in a position where he had no chance whatsoever, his first thought when he heard his name was revenge (he came to his senses after that but that doesn't negate it)

Plus, nothing says Guts regrets what he did by travelling one year alone. He earned his freedom. And "doing it again" refers to losing something important while being focused on something else, it doesn't mean that this something else is shit, but that he prioritizes Casca's life over it.

Falconia is clearly Ultra-eclipse with his Kingdom as his sacrifice to allow the God Hand take form in the physical world.

It's literally just pent up anger from the years of a shitty life, and battle experience. PTSD manifested from demonic experiences, and his struggles. The fact that the armor he now wears feeds off of such emotions doesn't help.

The whole gist of the Idea of Evil is that humanity unknowingly created it to provide a reason for their suffering. Same for the Beast, it's another Ideal being created from Guts' deep-seated rage and need for vengeance. However, although Guts initially went on his murder spree to avenge his fallen comrades and Casca, the Beast sees the latter as the one threat to his complete takeover of Guts. If Casca dies/betrays Guts/can't return to any state of normalcy, the Beast wins.

Basically evil as an emotion takes form through magic.

Guts roams around for two years constantly battling Apostles and sheer hatred of Griffith begins to create a new consciousness within Guts, The Beast of Darkness. Its like a miniature version of the God Hand in a way, its created out of feelings of hate and actions of evil.

Guts struggles with it but also its crazy fucking powerful. Using the Berserker armour he can contain its influence while letting it control his body.

I think he really did love Guts. Dunno if it was physically or not but he definitely felt for him.

So, what the fuck exactly is Casca going to do once she returns to normal? IF she returns to normal?
