What is your excuse for not owning Bitcoin, Sup Forums?

>impossible to regulate
>disappears when the power goes out

It doesn't disappear when the power goes out but you can't use it. which really isnt so different then our current system since most people dont carry a lot of cash.

How am I gonna buy this nigger shit at 5k a pop? Even at its smallest increment, its ridiculously expensive. I'm glad you got in on it early, user, but fuck off.

very different than gold though

Do you really, like honestly, believe that the financial powers that be will allow bitcoin to take away from them the absolute power they hold? All they need to do is lobby government to pass a law banning it for being a drug trafficking currency and POOF

if the entire world lost electricity we would have bigger problems than worrying about bitcoin

countries that regulate it hurt their population because bitcoin is traded with at a premium in those areas
if bitcoin keeps growing to become the global currency countries that regulate it will become poor. It would be like how you can get more for your dollar in a poor country

Segwit was the creation of the central banks of bitcoin, so unfortunately GG there. But the great thing about crypto is that it's just getting started. You should be holding BTC though, stupid not to when you realize the true scarcity.

I happen to own a whopping 0.2 BTC.

But gold doesn't have the easy of use that bitcoin or digital money has. I doubt gold will return to being a currency, it will continue as a store of value.

thats still 1000$
enough to buy a good time

Bitcoin is a meme scam, I Reddit socialists told me so!! Reee

They are going to try to do a digital SDR and a digital dollar. We will see who the normies follow but after everyone looses their 401ks and everything else denominated in dollars I dont think they will have the trust to get people to use anything controlled by them. They will be lucky to not get killed by mobs.

Fuck, i should start getting paid in bitcoins in my webshop..

perhaps its time to evolve..

I do but not much
Who else /LINK/ here?

Bitcoin is mass delusion. There is nothing of value behind it.

>implying other cryptocurrencies like Litecoin aren't superior

>There is nothing of value behind it.
You have a low IQ don't you?

>Most black Americans have European admixture
>If we assumed that half of those with admixture recieved genes from a white male during, prior, or post civil war, that means that their children recieved a European Y-chromosome
>A sizeable percentage of black American males carry Y-chromosomes
>QTDDTT Black males spread European genes
Checkmate atheists

a jew invented it and controls most of the market

nah. its just gonna slowly become the norm

whydid you randomly start talking about religion?

It's just digital fiat that you need other fiat to buy .. literally worthless in the longrun.

I'll buy something from your store :) lets embrace the future and bypass this foul system of usury that's been keeping the human population caged.

Bloodless revolution that's happening at lightening speed, I can't wait for welfare state payments to be inflated away vs btc. The Zimbabwean school of economics is about to be eternally btfo, the best part is the defenders of zimb economics can't even understand how it's happening. Delicious.

What's this pic?

I thought btc was capped at 21 mil coins max, that'd make it non fiat. How many usd exist? Is there a hard limit on how many dollars in circulation or is it dependent on debt uptake and stimulus..?

my mom who i have been telling about it for months finally agreed to talk with her accountant about getting some after she saw an article in a magazine(old media) I also redpilled her on the jews and the civil war we went shooting tonight too :)

>It's just digital fiat
no

>you need other fiat
no

>worthless.
no

>implying the "gold" you own isn't 99% something else

the kikes hate gold even more than BTC

It's dependent on oil and the interest. Those are the limiting factors, but it's backed by nothing.

I never realized how wrong someone could be in so few words.

Central banking systems are going to lose control in America for at least 60 years. People alive today will have to be dead, this isn't going to be your average collapse. Us cities are going to descend to anarchy, people are going to starve.

Nice double top. No one will see the last trip to sub 3000 coming

Then you aren't thinking about it hard enough.

>that'd make it non fiat
They already have mBTC and can break it down into infinitely smaller units.

what happens when the jews start buying bitcoin?

You can go to coinbase and just buy it, in whatever amount you can afford...you don't have to buy 1 whole bitcoin. Or use Gemini if you can't use Coinbase.

Stay poor, nocoiner

Nonsense. Bitcoin does nothing special whatsoever. Ironically, the price of bitcoin goes up because more and more people believe it will be widely used as a currency one day, yet the higher the price the more it's used as a speculative investment. It's fucking bizarre and will fail GUARANTEED.

Lol they're not getting rid of anything. It would be trivial to make a crypto american dollar or a crypto world currency. You could do it overnight. Bagholders will be left in the dust.

Correct. It's tulips of the 21st century.

1 Satoshi (the smallest increment you can buy BTC in) is worth .000057 usd right now you fucking brainlet no coiner

Crypto currency won't feed you when the power is out

How does segwit benefit Central Banks?

You think you're joking, but that's becoming a huge problem (and a method of tracking users). Though numerous government seizures of dark net market, all coins held in escrow were confiscated. The government now hold a huge stockpile of bitcoin. In addition, it's hilariously easy to rapidly inflate/deflate the market value.

Bitcoin isn't anonymous. In fact, it's the exact opposite of anonymous. Every transaction, from seller to buyer, how much, what time, etc etc (all metadata) is viewable and mappable. he only thing that made it semi-anonymous was that unlike bank accounts and credit cards, bitcoin wallets aren't tied to your identity. Now, however, to purchase any significant amount of bitcoin, it's very hard to do without leaving a trace.

I personally see Monero as a solution to numerous problems addressed above, although some flaws are just given due to the structure of the "currencies"

Bitcoin is a fraud

>hating globalism
>buying into a global currency
>assuming it won't be used as an even worse control system and manipulated even worse

Good luck with that. The house always wins, get used to it.

Is it even worth it to buy into Ethereum or litecoin? Or is bitcoin the only one that's going to take off?

digital beanie babies... the myspace of currency... i have so many friends... famous last words!

Bitcoin only has value in relation to paper printed currency.

So it's really not worth anything, on top of that not many places will buy bitcoins for paper money.

>Get cheap laptop
>Get public WiFi
>Make Bitcoin wallet
>Set up rendezvous with localbitcoins.com seller
>Purchase BTC anonymously

Not hard to get it done, but like you said if you want anonymity get Monero or Obsidian.

>muh tulips

Why is Sup Forums so fucking stupid?

Buying Silver at $5 an ounce let me get a car when it first jumped up to $20. Guess what? The SAME exact situation happened to me with BTC. Got in early, it blew up. Got me a new car. Just saying 'it's worthless' means fuck all to those who benefit from it. Sorry you missed out m8. Better luck next time. Go try some ForEx trading, it's good for some extra pocket monies. That is, unless you think that's all worthless in the long run, as well.

A decentralized unregulated global currency is a fucking disaster in the making. Why doesn't anyone else realize this.

>How does segwit benefit Central Banks?
Regulated over lightning networks by the big names like coinbase. Eventually bitcoin fees will be so high the almost all transactions will be on lightning with central bank's of bitcoin transferring the actual Bitcoin in aggregated blocks.

No its not you fucking pleb, our current system is the disaster. Governments and the Jews controlling the monetary supply IS the problem.

The only think backing it is the belief that the value will keep going up. Problem is that it will plateau eventually then there will be a sell off.

That's why you get it while the getting is good, dude. Why don't YOU realize that?

>tulips of the 21st century.
I agree, but I still want to ride the bubble and make some money and cash out before it crashes. Nothing wrong with taking advantage of a bubble when you see one.

But I do have Bitcoins.

MUH BITCOIN .. kill yourself and stop drinking this koolaid bullshit, you are buying right into their hands.

Can I mine using WiFi power?

Yeah what this currency is lacking in is some legitimacy - We need more Jews shaving off the top

I COULD HAVE BEEN RICH.

>all my money is ones and zeroes in the banking system
>disappears when the power goes out

The new monetary system is going to run on blockchain, whether or not any individual crypto survives is a different story but its not going away.

Ethereum - yea or nay? This is coming from an amateur crapcoin collector.

That's the market value of Bitcoin, but what's the book value? If Bitcoin is being speculated there will be a crash when the market corrects.

Checked.
Pieces of a coin aren't classified as solid totals equaling coins.
>Me being a literal prick

False.

I just transferred 0.5MIL to an offshore account. Thank you Panama :)

/thread
nothing else to see here... move along...

Too poor, but yeah, it's awesome

Outrageously vulnerable to government regulation, restriction, confiscation or destruction.

Cryptocurrency has no value. Call me old fashioned but a currency without value doesn't really make a whole lot of sense.

Bitcoin experts what do you predict the price will be in 2030? are we talking like 1 million per coin

...

Fucking kek
>Better luck next time
Ignore me all you want kid, I'm right

Good goy now go take out a loan and buy a house

Spot me 1 btc I'll get you back on Tuesday
1Hy5nBvqxwAZNskn3jNMxHMfPFNsaEERbq

Weong
Wrong
Wrong
And wrong

You aren't right about shit. You idiots are literally buying into and helping build an even worse control system that will have everyone fucked even worse over time.

I'm in, but I'm wary because it's being pushed so hard by wallet services. I'm not focusing on it, it's a bigger risk than it is a gain right now. I'd stick to LTC and BTC (watch for drops; those are more important than the up sticks), or silver and gold.

The USD wont exist by then so the comparison is kind of meaningless. All relative prices are going to change since we are entering a grand solar minimum and we will have bad food shortages. I plan to use it to buy land and build on it after the crash desu

You've got to be kidding me. One significant legal decree and the whole thing falls apart. Don't prented that you could just carry on if the United States outlawed Bitcoins tomorrow.

Monero is likely to take off once the average pleb gets spooked that btc transactions are public.

>Hasn't actually been following BTC

How the fuck does anyone take you seriously you babbling retard.

Is it too late to invest? Wish I had back in 2012 and it was only like $300 for 1 btc.

>Tulips

Why do you Jews always reference tulips? A more accurate metaphor would be the us dollar if you're trying to portray btc as unstable and untrustworthy and manipulated beyond all belief.

Do merchants just like flowers for religious reasons or something?

Pic related.

>What is your excuse for not owning Bitcoin, Sup Forums?
Bitcoin is limited to 7 transactions per second globally. VISA can handle 40,000 transactions per second. Bitcoin will never be a widely used currency. Fad will end and price will crash.

What's backing it is the limited status. Catch up, buddie.

I was a dumb kid when it started, but now I'm too poor to afford one and there's no point getting into it now.

this, i hope Trump bans ALL credits/cards/e-money and makes CASH mandatory, would save the economy and make people wisen up

Except its not like the USD because there is no set cap on the USD but there is on BTC

One bitcoin costs 700$ of energy to produce !

If anything, it's digital gold !

I just don't get how something back by absolutely nothing can be worth anything,

Anytime before the financial collapse is still early.

Scamcoin

Its not an investment. You put your money in and mever get it back as it untraceabley and irrecoverably moves around to jewish hands, who via jewish trickery, have convinced very rich retards to back ot through bitpay, and then cash out through bitpay.

Literally money laundering.

I think you missed the "too poor to afford even one" part.

Yeah, the problem is that many people use Coinbase, which is as bad as the banks themselves. The easiest way would be buying BTC whichever way, exchanging to monero/litecoin, then back to bitcoin. Obviously it isn't perfect if the person/service you exchange with keeps logs, but still.
