>government's responsibility is to take care of me because I can't do it myself!

Yo trump voters are stupid as fuck. Trump’s near dead boomer base are going to get fucked hardest by this.

>be American
>get shoot
>hospital bill is 200,000 dollars

It's this entitled thinking that has led to that incredible pricing structure in the first place through government subsidies.

Before the left started doing this crazy shit, hospital bills were completely normal.

>get shoot

You have to go back

Shootings are a daily thing in the us. If you don’t address this than you need to fuck right off. 60% of bankruptcies in the us are from healthcare costs

>60% of bankruptcies in the us are from healthcare costs
Source.

blacks shooting blacks in the ghetto in major democrat places that turned to shit on their watch is a daily thing you mean.
And the only reason we cant adress this is not because of evil trump but because of democrats, the left and black lies matter.

Who do you think is doing the shooting?

White males are greatly underrepresented in mass murders, but you wouldn't know that since the media only covers white males.

>Before the left started doing this crazy shit, hospital bills were completely normal.

It is same thing with college tuition

t. Cuck

Very right, the market handled college pricing perfectly. Charging what students could afford.

Problem is once government got involved in giving subsidies now students could afford hundreds of thousands of dollars of tuition debt, so why wouldn't schools jack up the rate?

Fucking lefties man. The founding fathers didn't have hospital bills like this.

I don;t think it's as high as user states, but it is the leading cause cnbc.com/id/100840148

as in what timeframe were medical costs "normal"

As recently as 1969, people could have a child delivered for around $200. Today the cost is $37k roughly.

You know the 60s are very famous in America for something. Do you remember from history class what it was?

so you're claim is that medicare caused this

I'm not sick, therefor I save up money in case I ever do get sick. it's called being an adult.

My claim is nothing other than what I originally wrote, which is that this entitled thinking, which has led to leftist policies of 'entitlement programs', have done some serious damage to the economy and its price inflation.

It makes me sad to think that leftists wreck the working system then use it as an example of why we need more entitlement programs and possibly Socialism.

>pay for my 14 spic babies, white boy

how bout no

lefties have some terrible cures for the system, but you're not even attempting to understand what is driving high healthcare costs, you're just snuggling up with your ideological binky

Anyone can make assertions like that.
I'm going to chalk it up as just your opinion unless you actually provide some logical refutation.

my annual cost to have insurance would be more than I've spent on healthcare in the past five years, which also means I would still be paying out of pocket because my deductible would be higher than I could possibly use.

What is health insurance?

the main drivers of our healthcare costs are we are getting much older then we used to, in part because we have the technology to keep people alive longer...older sicker people are expensive to keep alive. My dad would have died 20 years ago from cancer just 50 years ago. now he's 90, on a slew of pharmaceuticals, and just had every artery in his legs replaced last year for over 100k. I don't begrudge it, but this shit costs money. and it doesnt help that the average american is a diabetic lardass, requiring much more care as well. none of these things have anything to do with entitlements. They have to do with out culture, our aging demographics and our technology

That would make sense if it weren't for the fact that these outrageous prices are new and old people have been around forever.

Most people all throughout this country's history have lived quite long lives. The average lifespan is misleading because it took into account the very high death rate of infants. Most people did not in fact live to only 40. That is merely an average based on infant mortality rates. The children who did survive often lived into their 70s and above. Look into it.

this is veering into statistical conspiracy territory. average life expectancy was barely over 50 100 years ago, its 80 today. but i'll disregard that and go with what it obvious. in 1969 what was in the room with you when you delivered a baby? a heartrate monitor if you were lucky. i had a girl a few years ago and it looked like we were in the fucking matrix. you sound like you're in denial about how many medical advances have been made over the last 50 years. they can send fucking miniature robots into your body to kill cancer now. we value life so we spare no expense, but all this shit costs money.

It isn't conspiracy theorist at all. It is actually commonly accepted today by scientists.

Here is an article from the Guardian of all places that talks about it, and has quotes from prominent scientific figures who back up the claim. You are basing your theories on a myth.

grannysvitalvittles.com/how-long-did-people-live-100-years-ago/

Good. Boomers be purged.

Thankfully these only happen in black communities and me being a fair skinned adult male don't have to worry about such things.

Also I don't have to worry about:
>sickle cell
>an increased chance of getting hiv/aids
>an increased chance of getting genital warts or herpes
>an increased chance of getting the flu or common cold
>interactions with police that end in violence
>high levels of diabetes from eating soul food
>said soul food making me obese
>trivial altercations that end in violence
>high chances of having multiple children leading to an increased rate of single parenthood
>an addiction to harmful substances
>situations in which an abhorrently low IQ disallows me opportunity to reach my life goals

All in all it looks like it affects people who should of fell to the ebb and flow of Darwinism long ago. And not people who blame everything on whitey because it's easier to do. Therefore, the best healthcare one can get is to NOT be raised in minority, or even majorty, communities with the above list of ailments that befall those communities because of an INCREDIBLE level of ignorance, empathy, or basic self-awareness.

you sent a link with a non-stop flow of pure quackery. i don't think you have any interest in reality. Enjoy your vittles.

>Assuming government money doesn't make healthcare more expensive.

Our healthcare system is incredible expensive BECAUSE of subsidies, you buffoon. They don't charge what it's worth, they charge what they CAN because there's tax dollars up for grabs.

So basically Democrats could have voted for universal insurance, but they instead decided to virtue signal.

And so you exit the conversation by dismissing the other person, as is common when people hear data from prominent scientists that conflict with their world view.

I hear this a lot, but usually with the phrase pseudo science, when I quote to liberals about race from scientists.

Nobody cares about the niggers that are shooting each other.

>the most developed country in the world
>basic health needs are a premium
and people wonder why all the hill billies do rustic medicine shit, they vote for Trump and then cant afford a doctor when shit happens

Am I understanding this correctly? Me, being 29, would receive a $2000 subsidy towards the cost of the Obamacare I'm forced to pay for? THAT WOULD MAKE IT FREE FOR ME! WHAT THE FUCK! WHY IS THIS NOT A THING? I'd still prefer a full repeal of the ACA but if I'm not paying out of pocket for it then I would be much happier. Still can't afford the copay or deductible so I still can't go to the doctor, but at least I wouldn't be paying a monthly premium.

>im not sick there for I save up 15K for a single visit to ER in case something ever happen
>that single visit puts me on the "do not insure" list of every major insurance
>what is pre-existing conditions
>what is middle class and lower

>...older sicker people are expensive to keep alive
Hitler, is that you?

>be dindu
>ancestors always killing each other
>white man come and take them to new world
>many years later, their descendants killing each other
>demand white man pay for reparations because if it weren't for him, we'd be space pirates n sheeeeeit

Wrong.

I work in the hospital. 90% of patients are there for problems that was mostly caused by them. Leading killers in the US are heart disease, cancer, and COPD. 2 out the 3 are avoidable through a healthy lifestyle - diet, exercise, and don't fucking smoke cigarettes. You do that, you cut costs in half, easy. HOWEVER most of the patients there don't give a fuck. I saw a patient yesterday for pneumonia exacerbated by COPD. This was her 5th visit in the past 3 years. You think she gives a fuck about quitting smoking? NOPE. And guess what? YOU are paying for her visits.

>b-b-b-but user what about heart disease.
Heart disease is mostly caused by uncontrolled high blood pressure over many years. Most people with high blood pressure? Hambeasts. They don't diet, they don't exercise, and they don't take their fucking anti hypertensive pills. GUESS WHO ELSE IS PAYING FOR THEM.

I'd say this is 80-90% of the patients I see everyday. This is why I don't believe in universal healthcare. NOW. Do I feel bad for the people who are actually dieting, exercising, managing their health, taking their pills on a daily and they just had shit luck in the genetics lottery? Sure.

Bottom line we need to care for people who care for themselves. Otherwise we are just throwing money into a bottomless pit.

I don't pay $15k for a ER visit, nigger. That's where my insurance comes in. I'm barely middle-class and even I don't put my burden on other people, unlike lazy fucks like you who think the world owes you something for existing.

>I don't pay $15k for a ER visit, nigger. That's where my insurance comes in. I'm barely middle-class
one of this statements is false

>muh feelings
found the leftard

>You think she gives a fuck about quitting smoking? NOPE. And guess what? YOU are paying for her visits.

And this is the key to understanding where the US healthcare system fucks you twice over.

You ALREADY SOCIALIZE COSTS. Both from legal residents and illegal ones. Every single health problem by poor people becomes an ER problem, because the ER is not allowed to refuse them. This cost is one big reason a bandaid in the US costs 10 000 dollars.

But you dumb cunts don't get this. You also don't get that the reason your system costs MORE than single payer is that you don't treat problems before they end up at the ER.

The other part of your problem is the legalistic system with no caps on payouts, meaning everyone needs to be insured to the eyeballs just incase a doctor makes a stitch that leaves a scar and a litigant patient comes at you with kike lawyers. Suddenly that bandaid costs 20 000.

>I'd say this is 80-90% of the patients I see everyday. This is why I don't believe in universal healthcare.

If you work in healthcare and you're still this fucking retarded there really is no saving your system.

The reason you help the poor isn't because of a bleeding heart, it's because they end up costing you more if you take the "tough love" attitude. It's not benevolence, it's the insight that they are beyond saving and it's a matter of managing them.

See also why you have the crime rates you have plus the biggest prison population in the world.

Oh and before you comment some deflecting bullshit; I am against immigration, I am against undercutting local workers and we will see a populist party go from outside government to leading it in one election. You don't even have an anti-immigration party.

>one of this statement

You got fucking owned spic.

I'm late for work so I'm forced to make this quick otherwise I'd type up a wall of text.

>If you work in healthcare and you're still this fucking retarded there really is no saving your system.

Do you work in healthcare? Is your country overrun with Tyrones who have an entitled IDGAF attitude? Come back at me when you do.

Healthcare in the US is much like gun control in the US. We don't have a gun problem, we have a dindu IDGAF problem.

Since I work in the city, around 80% of the patients I see are black. Some are fine but most, again like I said, have that don't give a fuck attitude. They aren't compliant with their medication, they don't follow our recommendations, they don't follow up with their scheduled appointments and when something goes wrong like we clearly state it will if they don't follow our recommendations, GUESS WHO THEY BLAME? Us. The hospital. The healthcare.

It's not that we don't care about poor people. It's that we don't care about people WHO DON'T CARE ABOUT THEMSELVES. The system isn't perfect but it works very well. We have the best technology and the best doctors from all over the world - AGAIN, it's because the patients don't care about because their lifestyle is shit.

Not to mention, priorities. I saw a patient who was complaining about not having a blood pressure cuff last week. It costs $20 on Amazon. He said he couldn't afford it. Okay, we'll see if his insurance pays for it - NOPE. Also, the same patient - has the brand new iPhone X, brand new jordans, mercedes benz keys, etc. It's not that he can't afford, it's just that he doesn't want to pay for it. His priorities in life aren't his health - it's about staying flashy.

The reason why I got into this field was because I truly do care for people and want to make them better but as soon as I fix them, they go out and do the same dumb shit again. The reason why we pay so much is because of a select few people who bring the averages sky fucking high.
