I read somewhere that CNN doesn't have a jounalist license but a "entertainment" one, which allows it to be more loose with the truth. I have no idea whether that's true or not but it would certainly explain certain things.

They do the same thing news websites do where they jump between being news, opinion and entertainment and usually don't make it clear what hat they are wearing when spewing bullshit. A good example is Total Jizzcuit and his "I'm a commentator" nonsense so he can switch between being a reviewer a critic a blogger a vlogger a journalist a broadcaster an entertainer a podcaster a social commentator and if someone has beef he's just switches the hat and says "but I'm not X I'm Y therefore argument invalid"

Between Obama making propaganda legal and every employee in the media taking this "entertainer/commentator" role they can lie cheat and steal and just switch hats in mid sentence to get away with it. There has NEVER been an unbiased press and an “objective journalist” is more rare than a unicorn. The problem is once upon a time, there were perspectives available all over the place. before TV there was only newspapers and magazines and an intelligent person had access to all of them. Each city and most towns had at least two papers.

TV ended this, the “second paper” in all cities went under and there were just 3 info sources, CBS, NBC, ABC which all had the same libtard bias. For 60 years there has been only libtard bias.
