what's wrong with anime adaptations?
The "books" being adapted into anime are trash, that's what's wrong.
>adapt a movie from the Twilight books
>it's shit
What's wrong with live action adaptations?
LNs are shit.
...
try aoi bungaku
This
LNs are generally bad.
Still waiting for a Voltron of Twilight, 50 Shades of Grey, Sword Art Online, Eragon, and Hunger Games that devolve into Chuck Tingle brand ironic
Would you watch an anime adaptation of the Godfather?
Yes.
No.
Maybe.
Is this a non-LN book adaptation thread?
C-c-combo breaker
>comparing The Godfather to """"""novels"""""" written for manbabbies and fujoshits
LN content is shit at best
I'm pretty sure OP is aware and pulling your leg or just downright making a joke.
anime is more faithful to its source material
so with trashy novels like godfather hollywood directors can pull the "artistic license" card and not give a fuck
not so much with anime directors and their trashy novels
Japanese people are super autistic, which is why everything needs to be overplayed and in your face. Just imagine a Japanese Godfather
>I will make him an offer he can't refuse
>the entire room: EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
also it's more easy to adapt to film than television (more money, don't have to worry about pacing episodes, etc).
You know that the Godfather screenplay was written by the author right. The first movie was extremely faithful to the novel, the novel was just too long so Vito's story was saved for the sequel.
Your point is right 99% of the time, but not in this instance.
>>EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Why the fuck do shounen anime do this shit so much?
>manbabbies
