>The Associated Press has obtained a recording of what some U.S. Embassy workers heard in Havana in a series of unnerving incidents later deemed to be deliberate attacks. The recording, released Thursday by the AP, is the first disseminated publicly of the many taken in Cuba of mysterious sounds that led investigators initially to suspect a sonic weapon.
>What device produced the original sound remains unknown. Americans affected in Havana reported the sounds hit them at extreme volumes.
>Whether there’s a direct relationship between the sound and the physical damage suffered by the victims is also unclear. The U.S. says that in general the attacks caused hearing, cognitive, visual, balance, sleep and other problems.

Lads: Redpill me on why the Iran deal even happened in the first place? It clearly can't be because Obama and Kerry are moral guys, tearing up established US policy of regimechange in Iran, because the deep state would never have let it happen, and because look at the rest of their foreign policy. Look at Syria, Ukraine, Libya, Yemen. The Iran deal actually sticks out like a sore thumb among the rest.
So why did it happen? Was it that >Russia, China and Europe wanted to start trade and were going to do so anyway, so Obama thought we can either be on the outside getting cucked, or we can get in on it and at least get a piece of the pie? or was it >Long game. Can't do anything right now, military stretched, still dealing with Syria. So kick the can down the road by making this 'deal', and then years later a future president (red or blue, doesn't matter) can lie and say "they're breaking the deal, we gotta gittem!" and their claims would have more 'credibility' because they could point back at the deal and say "see, we tried, but no we have no choice, ehehehe!"?
Redpill me because years later I still don't get it.

>think about how Merkel and her crew will react the only thing which could push Merkel to go against US is economy pressure. >Apart from the prisoner exchange, Iran already released a fifth imprisoned American, Matthew Trevithick. Trevithick has worked at the American University of Afghanistan and the American University of Iraq, and is a writer and podcaster. >The news came as Iran was on the verge of "Implementation Day" — the benchmark Iran reached when it met its obligations under the international nuclear deal, and when many sanctions against the country are lifted. >As part of the landmark deal, Iran agreed to reduce its stockpile of uranium, remove centrifuges and allow for more intrusive inspection, among other things. With the International Atomic Energy Agency's verification that Iran has met the terms, billions of dollars of Iranian assets will be unfrozen and some limits on trade and banking with Iran will be lifted.
Over the past 48 hours alone, US-backed Kurdish forces have captured the villages of Kabbar, Husayn, Muwayli, Jarbus, Hasf Tall, Ghayran, Tabaraya and Hilalah after ISIS commanders ordered their subordinates to regroup on the eastern bank of the river.

>Tension and sanctions damage economic ties Europe has built in Iran, do you think they EU will cave like they did with Russia sanctions? No, here are many voices calling for the lifting of sanctions, but Russia is nearby and Krim was recent and a real deal. Iran on the other hand dindu nuffin, all reports state that Iran did adhere to the deal. Russia sanctions are defended with >muh Crimea What would you say to defend imposign sanctions on Iran? Nothing, there's no case to be made here.

>No problem in buying Russian S-400s, Erdogan says, hints at S-500 talks
Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said there was no problem with the purchase of Russian S-400 anti-aircraft systems, adding that Ankara also held talks on the S-500, a THAAD-type system, currently under development. “In our talks with [Russia President Vladimir] Putin we are not thinking of stopping with the S-400s. We have had talks on the S-500s too,” Erdogan said, speaking to reporters as he returned from a trip to Ukraine and Serbia, as cited by Habertürk newspaper and Reuters.
According to the Turkish president, there won’t be any joint production in the first stage of S-400 purchases.
“…but in the second stage, God willing, we will take joint production steps,” Erdogan said.
Earlier in October, Russia confirmed that it received an advance from Turkey for the state-of-the-art S-400.
“Yes, we have received it [the down payment]. We can’t name the dates of supply yet. They want it earlier [than 2019], but the issue is still under discussion,” Russian presidential aide for military-technical cooperation Vladimir Kozhin said at the time.
If the SAA and their allies dont attack the SDF after ISIS terrorists are removed theyll just keep everything and expand. SDF are terrorists and should be dealt with in the same manner.

Obama unironically wanted to have good ties with Russia and Iran, the hawks in his administration and congress fucked him over many times. Hillary was kicked out and Kerry was able to secure the deal, even though he is hawkish he is better than Hillary. The deal is pretty much the only thing Obama accomplished in 8 years of trying to get better ties.

>US imposes 'tough sanctions' on Iran Revolutionary Guard - Trump
“Iran committed multiple violations of the agreement,” the president said, despite the International Atomic Energy Agency’s confirmation that Tehran is in compliance with the deal.
He said he expects Congress to come up with legislation that will amend the deal and “strengthen enforcement,” as well as include Iran’s ballistic missile program, and remove the ‘sunset clauses’ in the agreement.
If negotiations fail, Trump said, “the deal will be terminated.”
>Additionally, Trump announced “tough” sanctions against Iran that are unrelated to the nuclear deal. They target the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, which is part of the Iranian armed forces. Trump has accused the Guards of supporting terrorism.
Trump wants a “more confrontational” approach to Iran, US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said Friday. While the US will remain party to the internationally negotiated pact, the decision to decertify Iran’s compliance opens up avenues for Congress and Treasury to impose new US sanctions on Tehran not related to the nuclear program.
So German news claim US does not have a majority in Senate pro fucking over Iran deal. Why do they say so? Republicans are holding a majority and (((chuck schumer))) is openly against the deal, do I don't get why they think they wouldn't impose sanctions on Iran

>Microsoft used personal data of Windows 10 users without consent – watchdog
Microsoft has come under fire from a Dutch privacy watchdog over claims the tech giant collected data from personal computers using its Windows 10 package.
>The Dutch Data Protection Authority (DPA) alleges that Microsoft has been using its marquee operating system to collect information on users’ web surfing behavior so as to target them with personalized ads and recommendations.
The watchdog found that during the installation of Windows 10, users are encouraged to accept default settings that enable ‘full telemetry’ rather than the more limited ‘basic’ option.
>“If a person does not actively change the default settings during installation, it does not mean he or she thereby gives consent for the use of his or her personal data,” the DPA said in a statement.
