How come this anime is posted here so much but literally no one IRL, even the biggest weebs don't know this anime. It's like a vocal minority of hipsters trying to convince themselves that their flavor of the month anime is good.

I don't really want to draw a diagram but picture three concentric circles. The largest one is "people who watch anime that you are likely to encounter at anime conventions." The second one is "people who actually watch anime that doesn't air on American network television." That last one is the one that you happen to be in, which is people who are not obsessed with Re:Zero.

I'd imagine normalfags are happy enough with their lives that they're out of touch with Subaru's character.
