Kill yourself, Sup Forumsermin.

Good thread.

Being able to enjoy only one genre of anime is not something to proud about, OP.

>Genre: Shoujo/Josei/Shounen/Seinen

Being able to only enjoy generic rom com garbage like 99% of Sup Forums is not something to be proud about.

Let me guess, you're favorite anime are Cowboy Bebop, Texhnolyze and Lain, right?

Not this guy, but what's wrong with liking these three ?

>genre: Psychological

>Genre: Psychological

Nothing, as long as you don't watch them only to boast on an anonymous imageboard.

They're not but those are 3 shows that have actual story lines and conflict. Shit actually happens in those shows (even if slowly in two of them)

Like 80% of anime being made right now has next to no plot or meaningful conflict.

The vast majority is rom com trash with new waifus for teenagers to ogle over

Why would anyone do this ?

>genre: Harem/Ecchi/School/Romance/Action

Easily the worst trend in anime

>Like 80% of anime being made right now has next to no plot or meaningful conflict.
Just because it doesn't have loads of drama or action doesn't mean it doesn't have plot or conflict.
Almost every show has plot. Only comedies like Joshiraku or Lucky Star don't really have a plot, but they are way more focused on narrative and dialogue.

SoL-wise, they do have meaningful conflict and plot. Even if it's a small trifling matter, it brings about about a new face to a character and fleshes them out. They are character-driven stories. Cowboy Bebop, Lain, and Tex are more plot oriented than something like K-On! or Hidamari Sketch.

Here it comes, always the same identical sermonabout how modern anime are nothing but trash because there aren't a lot of "adult and mature shows like myself", like it was any different 30-40 years ago. Stop trying so hard.
I have no idea, maybe having your copypasted opinion validated by strangers on the internet feels better than I think

You're completely delusional

>slice of life where the main characters are 4 pre teen girls

For once I have to agree with you. Battle School Harems are the worst shit there is.

Nice rebuttal.

Can't argue with delusion.

>one is rich
>one is a member of school council
>one is always sleeping
>and the mc is an airhead

bonus point if nobody knows that the rich girl is ultra rich and her family has a private island or villa

>high school romcom where the completely unremarkable MC joins a club/group of special snowflake friends who get him to come out of his shell

>MC McWhathisname is an ordinary schoolboy, who led ordinary life, until mysterious girl fell on him from the sky.
