There you go. Having watch the first two seasons and sporadic episodes of the third, I have to say that I did enjoy some of them. It's completely idiotic, however, that people try to put Rick, or any of the other characters, on a pedestal as a role model. Most of the humor from the show is based on how fucked up they all are.

I liked the first season. Second one was ok but not as good. What I've tried to watch from the third one has felt weak. The show has always explored Rick and Morty's relationship, Rick's demons, and Beth and Jerry's marriage. But it seems to me that it has gotten increasingly centered on these over time. Instead of being mostly crazy adventures with side stories focusing on the relationships, it is focused on the relationships with the adventure now being the side story. And that has hurt the show.

is this show good? It sounds good from the wiki, it seems to be an intelligent show for people who are highly intelligent and aren't afraid to admit it. I have grown bored with the infantile and repetitive plot lines of anime and their focus on lewd and degenerate artwork instead of original creativity and abstraction in character design and animation, for example I hate how anime is autistically obsessed with making cartoon people have the same joint structure as real people when the medium of animation allows for bendy limbs that stretch when needed.
I don't want to brag but I have some pull with certain TV networks here due to my professional credentials and personal connections and I am thinking I would like to arrange for Rick and Morty to be licensed here and purchased for late night viewing, the localization and licensing costs would mean that purchase orders and therefore production of one or two of the low tier moe anime series would need to be cancelled for budget reasons but I think we can sacrifice some dumb shit like kemono friends if it means we can acquire an intellectually stimulating series of this caliber

Most of the quotes are taken completely out of context. The show basically takes the liberal wet dream of a family (Nihilistic scientist grandfather, strong mother, pathetic men) and then goes on to explain why it is that they are the way that they are. Jerry has cuck parents, literally, Rick openly begins to accept later that nihilism is unhealthy, Beth decides that her family is more important than ending up like her father (Rick).
