Syrian Army begins new offensive on eastern Euphrates shore
> Forces of the Syrian Arab Army on the eastern shore of the Euphrates River have begun a new push, assaulting two ISIS-occupied towns north of Deir Ezzor city.
>According to military sources, units of the Syrian Arab Army on the eastern bank of the Euphrates started an offensive this morning to drive ISIS from the towns of Janenah and Husanyah.
>Syrian troops jumped off from their positions around Hatlah Fouqani which was liberated yesterday.
>Furthermore, other units of the Syrian Arab Army began to attack ISIS inside Deir Ezzor city itself and are currently advancing towards the district of Ummal
Blake Lee
a high-res pic of Assad doesnt need a special purpose in /sg/, senpai

Most of /sg/ is gay for Suheil but I'm unironically gay for Assad

my guess - al busayrah

>2000 Nusrats well done
Guys plz.. Why do you mean by "nusrat" ?
Evan Kelly
IMO, they'll go first for Shahil in order to cut off Al busayrah from the south.
Al Nusra is one of the many terrorist organisations in Syria. Nusrat is a portmanteau of the words nusra and rat.
Mason Jenkins
Jabhat al-Nusra, formerly. Now - Hayat Tahrir ash-Sham, HTS for short. Al-Qaeda branch in Syria you absolute raging newfag.
Jace Bailey
somone online called me a little kid for not knowing how to get Khat in Europe, he said in norway it's easy to get it from Somalis which seem to hand around every corner from teh way he was writing
Easton Lee
Either this, or race south, these cliffs look welcoming for an advance. Jihadis would be simply trapped in the Euphrates Valley.
Adam Morgan
Ooooh ok I could have understood by myself.. thanks guys
Luis Cruz
thanks ..
problem was "nusrat" means "victory" in arabic and I thought you meant this
Christopher Cook
i guess tigers might continue south, think it's isis killers on the east euphrates bank that are supposed to go down towards busayrah
Angel Gonzalez

fair enough, as you were.

>frenchies >having the balls on coming to a politically incorrect forum C'mon man.
James Jones
Looks much tougher to me, mainly because SAA positions in Khusham are not elevated at all and the cliffs are fairly away from the Busayrah town, also it's just a series of smaller villages, unlike south of Mayadeen until Abu Kamal. I doubt Tigers will move north, because their lines are already stretched, so in order to move north they'd have to secure bigger buffer zone south of the Suknah/DeZ highway. Also I doubt IS hunters, or whoever is there with them 3rd Incursion of 5th Legion probably, have enough gear and manpower to just stroll towards Busayrah from Khusham positions.
John Cooper
Wait, I'll laugh in Arabic so it's even more silly HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Robert Jones

ISIS weapons left behind in Raqqa. Can someone identify the ATGMs? I tried with the ATGM guide, but I'm too stupid it seems

The US kept the base until second Iraq war, then Bush had to make military spending cuts and closed down bases that were no longer strategically important
>coming from a cucked country >not hiding your flag
Uhhh.... wyd....???
Nathaniel Smith
Okay, lads, buckle your seat belts, I'm going to tell you exactly what the SAA should do and why (I will make references to the colours in pic related as I go)
>STEP ONE: Secure the West bank of the Euphrates (Yellow)
>Step TWO: Secure the areas surrounding DeZ city (Red). This will stop the Kurds from having any access to the city and it will secure the bridge that connects the DeZ to the road that travels along the East bank of the river, giving them access to all downs downstream
>STEP THREE: The Army goes south, securing all towns East of the Euphrates until they reach Mayadin (Green). The garrison at Mayadin will hold their ground at this time. The Areas to the North are much more time-sensitive than those around Mayadin (Kurds), that is why the main attack must come from there.
>STEP FOUR Once the bank is secure, the army will sweep East (Purple)Their aim is to cut off the Kurds from getting too far South
>Step FIVE and SIX: The order of these last two steps depends on the Kurds. Will they try to outflank the Army and secure the Iraqi border? If so then the SAA must stop them (Orange), if there is no pressure from the Kurds, then they can afford to finally secure the rest of DeZ city (Blue).
Yeah, in a few hours, or in a day probably we'll hear that Russian sapers cleaned the city from mines, and by than the ponton bridge should be set up.

Hans gets it. But if you look at the shootings in Sweden then 80% of the time it's exactly Arabs, Kurds, Turks and Somalians offing each other. The people getting raped are Swedes but the majority of them are roasties or naive ultracucks. >"Mom Imma go to a house-party in Vällingby with Munir and Hassan!" >"Lol so tolerant of you Sara! Sure what could go wrong!?"
Joseph Myers
they seem bored, let them have fun a little bit
Ethan Morris
Take note of the elevation mapz & there's no way SDF will get there first, so I think from the strategical point of view securing as much riverside on both sides as possible is a better choice than rushing to the fields, since fierce counter-attacks can be expected there if the banks of the river are not properly secured.
Josiah Martinez
I don't think those are guided.
Jayden Bennett
ok, open up
