do most Americans live like this? Ive heard that 70% of white yanks live in these >houses. Why?
Do most Americans live like this? Ive heard that 70% of white yanks live in these >houses. Why?
they hate walking and the only way to get around in these is by car
Why do Croats live in homes like these?
because it's too hard for the average nigger to be able to navigate suburban sprawl when they're trying to do a home invasion and make a getaway, it's perfect security.
This looks like a newer development out West somewhere desu.
East Coast doesn't have as many developments that look as packed together, as there are many older colonial-era homes on larger plots of land.
how do we make Yank Aesthetics Great Again?
>they hate walking and the only way to get around in these is by car
you literally cant walk that since youll walk trough private properties
we dont have those kind of containers here
Cheap gas and general laziness, just drive everywhere, drive McDonalds for breakfast, lunch and dinner, eat in your car, drive to school, drive to Walmart, drive to a bar, then finally drive yourself into an early grave with only debt to your name - the modern American dream.
>don't have those containers here
Right, because they are houses
Yep and most of these pricks are brainwashed and ignorant
Even million dollar home are crammed together like matchboxes in the U.S. The reason is land is expensive, so you can get a lot of house for little money if your lot is only big enough for your dog to shit.
That's really good city planning right there
That's one of the most disgusting things I've ever seen, holy fuck how do burgers live like that
>you literally cant walk that since youll walk trough private properties
But I can see the sidewalk
It's right there
Why do suburbs always get attacked on pol. There's literally nothing wrong with living there.
>they fell for the grids are bad meme
BUT WHYYYY!!!???
I like USA and you guys used to have lit aesthetics in the 1950 and previous
>The reason is land is expensive
Houses in USA are way cheaper than in Europe when adjusted for av income
>But I can see the sidewalk
>It's right there
you have to go round and round since crammed houses
In and around major cities yes.
Go to rural south and get glorious cheap property with lots of land in the country, for 1/3rd cost of cookie cutter Suburbfag home.
because they fled Detroit?
Anyways, the suburb itself isn't the issue. I grew up innaburb. There were amenities interspersed throughout the community. Back then small business was still a thing. It was a 3 minute bike ride with my friends to go get some rootbeer flavored bubbly gum and some hockey cards.
The problem is that small business was killed by NAFTA. So these corner stores that were staples of the suburb are all dead and gone. If a city worships the automotive Jew and has piss poor urban planning Suburbs end up looking like the OP pic. In my city at least all the new burbs that pop up are self contained. All have their own greenspace, shopping center, etc. So they don't just act as giant collector roads to the giant sprawling commercial district.
it's true. that's why I cheer so much when I hear about all the (((homes))) burning to the ground in cuckfornica
Bueno 10/10
to avoid niggers
actually most suburbanites use golf carts to get around their neighborhoods
not really
sad really
land is super cheap in american champ
you go to work, come home, shut your garage door, crack a beer, turn on the tv and you are in your own little world
neckbeards blame their failures on growing up in them
grids are boring
>The reason is land is expensive
Technically not true. Land is piss cheap. Land with easy access to electricity, plumbing, roads and some kind of store nearby is expensive.
>the average yuropoor lives in a box while the average American lives in a 2000+ square foot house
Doesn't seem so bad to me
>BUT WHYYYY!!!???
I fucking told you, they're lazy and most of them are obese in high school or prior, when they get a car it just becomes a big mobility scooter for them and enables them to get even fatter and lazier. Jews are aware of this and build towns and cities to accommodate the American Extra Large Mart-Cart lifestyle.
why
Anyone who pays money to live in one of the boxes should kill themselves today. get some fucking arable land and stop selling you and your children's futures to the wageslavelords
Americans live like this because of our car culture and because whites like to separate themselves from niggers in the inner cities.
>Dependent on American produce in midwest
>Hehe all of America is cookie cutter 0 property homes
How do you even find your house without GPS?
>Houses in USA are way cheaper than in Europe
Yes but every Ameritard wants a shitty 5000 square foot McMansion, and the only way to afford one is to buy one in these developments where they cram 50 houses on an acre of land.
You think my post is irrelevant because we "depend" upon your shitty corn and grain?
I have never been to any places like this, do you really think it is common?
My street
Kind of this. There's plenty of dumpster fires out in the countryside that I could buy for a fraction of my annual income but due to inaccessibility actually developing it would be a logistical nightmare.
At the same time
>muh electricity
Just get a wood stove, LED lanterns and a solar array.
>muh plumbing
Drill a well and set up a septic field.
>roads
It's 2017. We don't need roads.
>some kind of store
Plan in advance. Christ. It's not that hard.
>ahoy mateys
kek
>thinking that owning a house surrounded by concrete and other houses makes one a landowner
land is only worth owning if it produces something for your benefit
instead you just throw away all your money to keep this huge empty box looking nice
To be fair, Brits live in tiny brick cubes because it's a tiny island and better looking and bigger wooden structures would probably be fucking wrecked by 300 days of rain and whatnot.
>The problem is that small business was killed by NAFTA
good point.
>to avoid niggers
but not all state have ethnic problems...? This aestetics seems widespread regardless of nogs.
>McMansion
dont get me started. Lifespan of thsoe is 50 years. A good old stoen house can last 5 centuries and has better natural isolation.
>>McMansion
>dont get me started. Lifespan of thsoe is 50 years
Not true, why would you think that?
America is designed badly. Things are too spaced out to walk to, and the roads are not cyclist friendly. The human body needs exercise to function normally. Cars and fast food are a terrible combination.
They're being battery farmed by Jews.
Males for foreskin and alimony.
Females for slut stocks.
All big bucks.
yes, every city is infested with niggers, in every state
Whoever made that is the lord of cringe, good god
Pretty sure that's a metaphor for Europe.
awfull
No every city large enough to have a suburban space like that has an infestation of niggers in the inner city, even cities as small as 50k have that problem. It's true that the Midwest doesn't have that many niggers proportionally, but they all live in the bigger cities there.
>Croatian jealous that Americans have a middle suburban class instead of straight from wealthy urbanites to poor backwoods farmers
Well you will be happy to know that communities like this are at an all time low in popularity.
Americans are purchasing older homes on average now, and typically in urban settings within range to a commutable public transportation to a larger city.
America is becoming more "nodal" - with smaller urban nodes feeding into larger urban nodes - as opposed to suburban, because the way taxes work in the suburbs is just fucking everything. IT isn't sustainable.
>Not true, why would you think that?
cheap materials.
Anyone who spends money on McMAnsion should be killed by a future white ethnosttate AS (aesthetic squad).
To get away from niggers and be close to other whites?
Is...living in a really tall cardboard box building?
That is such shit living.
Cars need to be nuked. Cities need to be built with pedestrians in mind again. Huge blocks with 20 mph limits(for delivery vans) intersected by streets and highways.
Prototype for The Venus Project.
In all fairness, having road tripped through the US on a number of occasions the interstate highway system is pretty handy. I usually avoid it though. I like to back-road it through the US. But if somebody has 'been there, done that' it's a pretty handy way to skip past everything.
Silent Generation/Boomer city planning.
Yes, it's fucking horrendous. It makes Americans more isolated and provides no community. It's completely fucking soulless and I want to move or die.
Still not true
>Cities too spread out
This. Car companies fucked us over in the 50s and now any form of public transportation is too costly to maintain and things are so far apart it's impossible to get anywhere walking.
you bet, bougie faggot.
You're just made because you don't have car.
>no land
>no trees
>suburban sprawl
It makes me weep.
I don't like it.
Everybody with a brain knows this, nobody wants to sacrifice their big mobility scooter to do it.
Thankfully cars, gas and insurance are becoming prohibitively expensive in Canada and we will soon see an end to this awful idea that cars are meant to be the backbone of western civilization, literally all it takes is a gas shortage and society grinds to a halt, it has even happened before and still nobody really cares. Still, it is really difficult and going to take a long time to re-purpose our communities to better enable pedestrian activity, probably more than a lifetime.
Europeans tell us all the time on Sup Forums that they would rather live in a commieblock versus a house like that.
For some reason they really, REALLY, value being able to walk to a store for their groceries
Look fag, we have to store our mindless workers somewhere. I think everyone else is just pissed that we give them large spaces where they can escape their servitude for half the day. Americans are very aware of the amount of self respect you all you third worlders give to your livestock. Would you prefer we store them in subterranean caves or with the hogs?
I do, I just don't like driving it very much. Especially in the city, it's such a chore.
The usa had a lot fewer people in during te 1950s
We went from 150m to 350m. Ad they all want to live where the jobs are. So they get packed in like rats.
It's not as bad as it looks from above
beautiful scenary. Virginia or smth like that?
>America is becoming more "nodal" - with smaller urban nodes feeding into larger urban nodes - as opposed to suburban
Good on ya m8!
>Is...living in a really tall cardboard box building?
Ill be honest it sucks space wise, but literal center of the city is 15min tram ride, or 15min bike ride. Everything you need in capital is walkable for 30min.
Expensice as shite also but has a certain closeness feel.
McMansions barely even use bricks
Canada has a far healthier middle class. We live 3 years longer too. Yes, Canada is a shitheap, but your average American is far worse off than your average Canadian. You're also running half trillion dollar deficits.
Sadly people miss the point of the old mansions when they buy those shit mcmansions.
People built those old mansions because entire extended families used to live together. And hotels were for social outcasts. So when regular people traveled there were also spare bedrooms in the mansions to keep people up. The reality is that even in a 900 square foot bungalow with the modern 3-4 person family you probably have more personal space than you would living in an old mansion back in the day with the grand parents and uncles and cousins and shit.
Also books were the primary form of lazy rainy day entertainment when they were built. So when you had 15 people living under one roof you needed a big library to store all the books.
what's wrong with the suburbs? Who the fuck prefers the overcrowded sardine cans filled with subhumans known as the city? inb4 MUH BUT ITS BORING
Because apartments are for niggers and people who enjoy getting fucked in the ass and then paying for it
You know that there are alternatives between this shit and a city?
Urban or rural. Suburban is just the worst of both. Drive another 20 minutes and live in a town of 200. You won't regret it.
Canuck please, I basically lived innawoods with my father for a time when I was a lad.
>freeze ass off trying to hunt in a damp forest filled with mosquitos most of day
>had to chop a metric ton wood each evening
>bathing in cold as fuck river water that couldn't properly get pine sap and grime off my hands
>fucking snakes in the outhouse so I have to stand/slav squat out of fear of getting my balls bit
>literally nothing to do for entertainment except reading or carving
>food tastes bland as fuck because neither of us knew how to fucking season properly
>all small chores become a pain in the ass because you have to actually do them yourself, you can't just put the food in a fucking microwave you have to get the fucking stove going and then pay attention to the shite you're cooking
I have embraced civilized life since then. Fuck life outside population centers.
Well there are driverless cars. in about 10 years. driverless cars will be the norm.
It's horrible. It's very much like Communism here.
Says the flat dwelling Swede. Do you even have a countryside thats liveable?
Voice of reason.
Your boredom is a product of over-stimulation that is a product of modern society.
I grew up in this development. The closer to a city the development is, the shittier it usually is.
>that strip of grass between the sidewalk and the road
comfy
they don't even do that anymore in the new suburbs they build, and I can tell by the spacing of the homes that that is an older neighborhood. The houses are actually scaled appropriately for the size of the lot they are sitting on. Now they just pack as many in a given area as they can and build homes like 15ft away from each other.
You were fucking snakes in the outhouse? that's gross
>We went from 150m to 350m. Ad they all want to live where the jobs are.
you still have way more land and way more cheaper than Euros have.
Look how fucking effiecent it is. You can tell a white man designed this because it is both elegant in shape (not a boring grid-pattern), and yet efficient in volume.
What is wrong with this? Because from the SKY it looks boring? On ground level it feels perfectly normal. All the houses are well-built, albeit somewhat samey, which to me is a good thing because there can't be any wackos wanting to be 'different' and 'special' and fucking ruin the scenery.
Honestly, tell me, aside from not being nightmare fuel for a liberal college-aged millennial city planner, what is wrong with this?
>civilized life
Could be worse.
You get used to mosquitoes and cold. You're supposed to get friends and spend a weekend preparing the years wood. It's easy to avoid sap but just use an alcohol based cleaner. Snakes in areas that see snow will almost never attack you. I've never run out of things to do and the internet is there for shitty days. You don't know how to cook. Chores are part of life. Microwave food is disgusting.
I grew up in a town of 200. I still went to the museums, clubs, concerts, and other shit throughout my life. There is a city of ~150k only 20 minutes from my hometown.
I am trying to argue the point that cities should be for people first and foremost, and should be designed as such. Cars will never disappear, and will probably be driver-less soon enough, I agree, but our dependence on them should be minimized.
It's more about the general health of the population, both physical and psychological, and I'm not talking about exhaust fumes when I say that. I'm talking about huge areas where people get around on foot, walk about and interact with each other without looking over their shoulder for cars. Where kids play wherever they want. It would be a much more comfortable living space as I see it.
It is not that bad for kids, there are actual woods and fields around. Unless they are locked private property.
Suburban is the best of both.
No shit. And it hasn't gotten better I can tell you that. Most days I multitask 2 or 3 things at the same time at all times. I'm playing a handheld, an mmo watching a series and shitposting all at the same time right now. It's not like you can go back from this state of mind after decades of exposure.
that's California in 20 years
It is deprived of meaning and it is soulless materialism. That is why it is very Communistic. In my area we have these big apartment buildings that are exact copies of the ones the Soviet Union built. The city is full of such decay, the roads are often left to bubble with potholes and then are shoddily "filled in".
You can go anywhere in the USA and find the Anytown, USA strip: McDonalds, car dealerships, other shitty chains. It's all the same everywhere. We live in a Communist country. Modern architecture is communistic.
Yeah right. You get none of the benefits of rural/urban living. It's terrible.
They are super comfy europoor
...
That shit is only in Southern California.
Ideally I would live in a small town but the suburbs are the lesser evil. OP's pic is probably from some Californian shithole but everywhere else like here in the Montreal suburbs there's plenty of nature like trees, parks etc. I can't last 24 hours downtown without being filled with suicidal despair. All this hating on cities is just circlejerking by retarded normies who do bar hoping or get high at raves
I live in a basement apartment.
The landlord stops around for 18 hours a day. It sounds like we're Jews hiding under floorboards of a cabin. Landlord also comes in/out 500x a day loudly slamming door. Absolutely no sound insulation
To answer your question, suburbia provides the best quality of life Americans can afford and still be within commuting distance of a job. Also allows them to escape niggers (no transit = no niggers)
There you go
That's what I meant. I live in an apartment complex for students in a small town and it's really nice here. I can go mountain climbing in a few minutes and can do everything by foot, no need for a bike or car. it's the best
Why dont you go there and find out for yourself...then stay there
Every house had about an acre of land, there was also a park next to the pond which were both open to anybody.
