Honestly the worst part is the PC port.

The PC port is solid, and is the only version of the game where you can get to 60fps. What are you talking about?

It's solid but you needs to deal with 30 FPS cutscenes so they don't freak out.

It's a bad Tales game. Every single Tales game is superior and offers more content and depth to combat.
Never before Zestiria did you have to limit your combo's to 4 fucking movies and get auto-stopped, unable to continue the chain.

This is the only fucking game you have to grind 1,000 items to guarantee double/triple skills and grind all of the same ones to stack a skill high enough to get a skill that allows you to perform combo's at your leisure.

It's the only fucking game that does away with personal skill lists and mashes them all together into a universal "battle skill" menu with most of the options just being locked content that was already in every single other tales game.

IT'S THE ONLY TALES GAME THAT WON'T LET YOU REMOVE TWO CHARACTERS, YOU MUST ALWAYS USE ROSE AND SOREY, NO QUESTIONS ASKED.
FUCK ZESTIRIA.

I've only played a bit of Vesperia, Graces F Xillia, Eternia, and Zestiria.

Mechanically I can see some of the others being better but I cannot stand the English dubs of Tales games I've seen. They seem overly childish and they just really bother me. I've been playing Zestiria after the anime and I've enjoyed it for the most part. I've mostly been playing it in preparation for Berseria since I hope that fixes the problems people have, and I assume it will also have the Japanese audio which would elevate it a lot.

I used to think like that, but then I played other Tales games.

Basically, the biggest crime the game has was mentioned by this user right here LOCKING TWO CHARACTERS IN YOUR PARTY

If you're trying to turn this into a subs vs dubs thread you can fuck off and kill yourself right now, that shit is preference only and while dual audio should always be included to shut up you pretentious japanophiles, it is by far the smallest of all issues.

I never personally had a problem with the battle camera so i dont know what was broken with it to say either way.

It's not as bad in fields, but it's fucking TERRIBLE in caves and dungeons. It's especially bad because the camera follows whatever enemy you're locked on to, and because every single enemy has a tendency to run away to the far end of the battlefield whenever you're facing it, you'll be constantly switching targets which further fucks up the camera, unless you want to chase the same enemy the entire battle as it runs from you, with three more nipping at your ass.

Berseria nip version will probably still suffer from the rock bug (among others) though.

Yes, you can extend your combos by expending a BG point, but those are precious and necessary for mystic artes and armatization, so why the fuck would they limit you on that?
I also know you can extend combos with a certain skill from equipment, but again why the hell do they limit that to a grindable skill?

That's not what I'm talking about. I meant that Tales games with tiered artes stop your combo after doing an arcane arte and almost every game from before the ps2 era was like that.
